So awesome! We were there with all our families for a family & friends get together. As the horrific scene unfolded, almost surreal, we began praying fervently on the spot. It was neat to see kids gathering in a circle to pray, on behalf of this boy and also family. God is so good. His mercy is amazing.

We are celebrating with this wonderful news.

The problem with nearly drowning is even when you're saved you can still develope pnemonia from the water (or bacteria in the water) entering the lungs. People have died from that. Then there is something called "dry drowning". I Hope the kid is OK. It's got to be really hard on his parents. haha Marcus name spelled backwards is Suc Ram Hahah Suck a ram.

It is very sad what happened but this boy was driving his Dads corvette (Dad has polio).Two different kids at the scene told me that Clark has 5 other speeding tickets in the last year or so. He for sure has a problem he loves to go fast as most of us did as kids.He was a crazy driver ask just about any kid that knew him.Maybe it could have been prevented but some would have had to speak up,no-one did.We all need to not live in denial.May they rest in pease.

Steve.. Somehow your story of the corvette crashing with the 17 year old girl (im assuming this is the story you speak of) got in this thread. This is about a 12 year old boy who nearly drowned in Castro Valley. But both stories are sad.
