I was in court on July 17, 2009, for the preliminary hearing. It is public record, so you do have access. The Judge, Gerald Rafferty made his deliberation on July 21, 2009. He based his decision on the fact that a lady by the name of Juana Contreras (who also found the victim) stated that Lopez did not assist Ms. Contreras in moving furniture in the victims apt. Well, it is because Ms. Contreras is an undocumented immigrant who does not want to get involved. Of course someone is rotting in jail, Judge stated that if this woman would have confirmed that Lopez helped, he would not have charged him with this first degree murder charge. This crime appers to be more than one person BUT how can you keep someone in jail whose fingerprints and DNA are not on the murder weapon.

You are making these claims, so you have the burden of proof. Until you provide proof of any of this I have to believe he is in jail because someone believes he should be. Didn't you say he's a drug dealer? As far as I'm concerned, he's likely responsible for far more than just one death.

Do you actually have citations ofr any of these claims you're making? It's not in the news.
No. not in news, but I have been in court. Today they stated they will not be seeking the death penalty. You can get copies of court records, they are public knowledge.
