I'm looking forward to seeing Wal-Mart come to this town. We have no regular shopping possibilities and prices are way to high for shopping in town. I do most of my shopping in Grand Junction at the Wal-Mart and Sam's Club.....

Maybe you should keep shopping in Grand Junction then! |

By Wal-Mart in such a small town it would be dooming all the small businesses! Wal-Mart will open with cheap prices, once they are officially a monopoly in Moab they'll jack their prices up. Then starts the major expantion, say good bye to the SMALL town we all know and love!!!

The west has plenty of cities that have had their souls sucked dry by big companies. Leave those towns to Walmart and give me stores run by real people, that live in the area and raise their children there. I'll spend more for toilet paper and detergent. The short term savings of a walmart are negated by the long term costs to a town. If you want a walmart, there are plenty of other places to live.
