I know more people who have left polygamy, and make no such claims of "escaping" it. They are all very strong minded people, who see it for what it is.

It seems the ones that claim they had to "escape" have only come to the "escape" conclusion because it was such a big deal in their own minds. I wish they could see ti for what it is, instead of exaggerating everything into insanity. This huge struggle they tell of is only in their mind, brought on by their own psyche.

By the way, have you read Brian Mackert's book? here, let me some it up for you:

The truth has been exposed about the abuse of the women and children by the FLDS.
This isn't the fifties anymore. Back in those days the news was not as advanced as it is today.
Women are weak minded as you state because of the abuse they receive, but most of all if they don't comply with the rules either real or made up lies, they and their children suffer at the hands of these idiot men in control.
I only hope more and more of them get up and leave. That is why they need to know there is help for them when they leave.

Your absolutely right. The truth has been exposed about these people. Arizona and Utah did a joint raid on the group, and investigated for two years. All the lies were proven to be wrong back then, and all the children were returned.

Then Texas raided the group, and once again, because some people just can't leave well enough alone, it was proven that these kids are not being abused, these people are not milking welfare, these people do not stock pile weapons of war, etc., etc. As you can see, these people have been proven mostly innocent once again, in spite of all the exaggerations from ex-members.

What more concrete evidence do you need than that provided by the Texas government? You know that if heinous crimes were happening at the scale Flora claims they are happening, almost every adult in that community would be in jail, and all the children would be in foster care.

It is not even worth talking to you anymore, because it is obvious you are beating a dead horse. At this point and time you are jut making yourself look more and more silly.

I thought the only person that would still be crying wolf would be Flora herself, and Obama of course. You're not Flora are you?!

Then they can see that there is hope for them.
If they can find a way to escape these abusers, there is help on the outside.
Ladies, the people outside are not bad people as you have been told. There are lots of good, loving people on the outside that want to help you.
You will never suffer the abuse you receive daily on the outside, as you have to suffer there where you are.
Once you get out, there are all kinds of government help programs to help you and your kids. They will furnish you a home, food, and protect you from the men in the FLDS.

Exactly, I believed that Warren Jeffs is on that path, until recently when he confessed that he was not a prophet, that he was a liar and that the truth was not in him, but can't be too sure, men in jail will say just about anything to redeem themselves.

I also find it ironic that they threw such a fit when the women and children were taken by the CPS.
Like it was something new to the children, and they were somehow affected by it.
These poor children live with this fear everyday.
They are blamed for it too for the rest of their lives.
There used to be some of the FLDS that posted on here, but I guess Warren *FLDS GOD* has sent orders for them to stop. I hope they at least learned a few things when they were here, and some day are able to escape.

I recall Dr Phil's son went to the FLDS compound. The men drove at them in pickups and swerved at them etc even though they had yet to do anything. This was on camera and in full view of the audience. I saw it myself. I remember a couple of FLDS men being interviewed years ago. One went on about all the sex and challenged people saying they were jealous of all the good sex he got and the other was bragging about most of the women had jobs, the others took care of the kids and he "helped out" when he wanted. BOTH were FLDS not posers.
Someone (who will remain unmentioned sounds like an apologist-perhaps wistfull apologist.)
Several prop8 LDS told me they were really FLDS but had to stay quiet or get excommunicated and they said they voted yes mainly because they were angry polygamy was not allowed. They were grudge voting.

Have you noticed during interviews, the FLDS women's voices were very falsetto, squeeky and meek in an exaggerated way? Very weird. a group for male and female misogynists. S&M for them.

I'm not sure where Utah gets it's info. They say in here that Ervil LeBaron took over the LeBaron group, when in fact he started his own group of about four families, 99% of the original LeBaron group lived in fear of him, and had nothing to do with Ervil. Ervil's group was a huge menace to society, but it was a very small group, and did not represent anything near the majority of those people's beliefs.

This goes to show that the lies and exaggeration have gotten so bad that not even Utah can get it all straight, although I know they try. I agree, their main case was to point out how the separation,(by CPS) would destroy the family, and disorient... the children, when all along as you have stated above, the children live with the possibility of being separated at any given moment, and at any given day by having their mothers reassigned to different man,

It was the part of the article that touched me the most when I read it, "The Splitting Of Families" I as an adult can't imagine the trauma of being separated from my family, or watching my love ones married off only to be displaced, into other sects in different states, or in other countries such as Canada, imagine a child having to deal with that,
