what's happening in the schools, just heard a student beat up a teacher and then adults beat up a student yesterday at the high school. i guess this is how the blacks act, never seen this go on before. let's hear the school big shots claim they don't have problems with the blacks now. time to put metal detectors in.

Ackerman is a county school inside the city of Florissant.
It is strictly Special Ed with physically and mentally challenged students. There are problems there on occasion with a student being physically aggressive towards the staff and other students.
Given the fact that there are all races, ethnicity of kids with all sorts of mental issues such as autism it should come as no surprise that such things happen.
I cannot believe you are inferring that only black kids do such things. Maybe you should research all the school shootings where numerous persons have been killed or injured. You may be surprised to find that the majority of such tragedies have been done by white middle class males. Why is that? Why have not just school shootings but mass murders in general been committed by white males?
Perhaps if it doesn't concern you directly you simply don't care how many people are killed. If so why should an event at a school for troubled children concern you to the point you make such a statement? Only one answer.....racist agenda.

I can't agree that mr. or mrs. hardhead has a racist agenda. Facts are facts, blacks statistically commit crime at about 6 to 8 TIMES the rate of whites, and a lot of blacks have moved to FLOMO so you are seeing the natural consequences.
Re Ackerman school, As I understand it from a former educator at Ackerman, they have a floor for ED--"emotionally disturbed" students, as opposed to "mentally challenged" students.
Reportedly these kids are now all black, and its dangerous. Each room has a teacher and an aid. The rooms are locked. The restrooms are locked. If a kid needs to use the restroom, he/she is escorted from the locked room to the restroom, the restroom is unlocked, the kid uses the facility, it is relocked and the kid is escorted back to the room and locked in. Supposedly the kids were "crack exposed" etc.
I hadn't heard about any assault, and don't know anyone over at Ackerman any more, but would presume perhaps that it was one of these kids. It would be good to have some truthful official statement from SSD regarding this matter.
Regarding the school shootings, seems to me that in virtually every case, mental illness is a major factor, but its largely ignored by our politicians in their zeal to hem in the 2nd amendment. I recall that Obama, in one of his proposed executive orders, included some cash for treating mental illness, but maybe there should be some serious fact finding and analysis before we allow the government to take action, particularly when it affects an important constitutional right.
Remember, when you have a government that fears its citizens, you have liberty. When you have a citizenry that fears its government, you have tirrany.

I am interested in where your information was obtained, of course you needn't reveal it is it were a private source. The reason is all SSD students are protected by IDEA and FERPA laws and therefore any incidents happening in any such schools should, by law remain private. Such happenings do not affect the public, per se but the release of such info can negatively impact families of such students.
Since I prefer to stick to the topic and not make it into a racist or political issue I will venture to say that the enrollment at Ackerman is not totally black or even predominately so. I say this with good reason, as my Godchild who is hearing impaired attends the school and I often drop her off and pick her up there.(I'm not black as that I am sure would make a big difference to some here concerning anything I might have to say.)
I believe each person has to decide how they feel about any race or ethnicity and conduct themselves accordingly. Labeling people, especially as a whole, IMO is wrong in any context. I truly wish everyone would see others as individuals. The person who commits the crime is the person to blame. Not an entire section of population simply because they are black and ride a school bus, for example. How that is even logical is a mystery to me. Using that sort of criteria one could say all white males are a potential source of mass murder, which of course is not true.
It truly saddens me to know black people are maligned as a whole. I have black neighbors and coworkers and friends (yes, friends) who are educated, law abiding, hardworking people. It is upsetting to see so much hatred within this community.
As I stated before feel free to indulge in obscene comments and name calling. That sort of worthless behavior I consider beneath recognition of any sort.

I too have well spoken, educated friends and neighbors that are black. They are good people and I like to spend time with them. Now.... what about the gold tooth, pants-sagging, mumble mouth, low lifes that hang out at Florissant Dairy, Hucks, KMart, etc. Should I take the time and effort to treat each of them as individuals and give them a chance to demonstrate the finer aspects of their characters? Or is it okay with you if i just assume that if you look, speak, and act like a low life you probablyare a low life?

misread the lady's comments or misinterpreted them. It is obvious, to me, anyway that what she is saying is you should treat people as individuals and make your assessment based on their character not their race or ethnicity. She didn't say word one about tolerating or even interacting with the sort of people you refer to. I believe what she meant is you shouldn't use the "low lifes" as you noted as a reason to blame an entire race/group of people. And you of course are turning her statement around (whether intentionally or not) to make it appear something entirely different.
If any adult cannot tell the difference between the "good guys and the bad guys" so to speak, that someone has serious problems and shouldn't be out by themselves anywhere.
