Five-Year-Old Cancer Patient Trying for World Record

A five-year-old Freedom boy is attempting to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for collecting the largest number of paper airplanes.

The students at our school made paper airplanes for Hunter. They are asking people to make paper airplanes and write the state on the wing of each plane. Yes, they can be the same. I hope people all over the world contribute their efforts to make this dream come true and help keep Hunter's spirit soaring!

I am spreading the word. I think this is a wonderful thing to do as a community and it only cost the price of a stamp. Some people asked if they have to put their return address and I said no, whatever the comfort level is for the sender. I am assuming they will not use the names for other uses,etc right? Please comment.

most of the school children write there name on the wing and age. I would write my name and a few good wishes to make it more exciting..

I think that it is a great idea! I know what it's like to have a family member with cancer. My brother had the same thing two years ago. It's a very difficult thing to deal with. I think it's awesome what he wants to do and that EVERYONE is helping him reach his goal.

My son (Alex)builds them every single day..his godfather owns Calspan and airplanes are our world! We will be sending you lots of planes...and we will pray for Hunter and your family everyday!!

I havd had my 10 year old great nephew make some and last night I made 25 while watching tv. I used an old catalog and it helps with my recycling. I am trying to fill the box before I send it. I work at an office that has homes for disabled adults and even some of our residents made some. God Bless! Get Well Soon!
