I also heard Al had friends that had a home in the sands dunes located off Livingston Rd in Bridgman,MI. It had tunnels leading to boat docks where Al would park his boat when he came over from Chicago on Lake Michigan.

Bernie you're probably thinking of what the locals used to call Livingston mansion..It was a big 2 story house located near Livingston beach. That house was burned down years ago by the fire department to use as a training exercise.

Sorry I didnt give spacifics to where the house is at. It is located in both Cass County and St Joe County. The property lies in both it is not in one or the other.
Adam from sturgis is rite it is a short way from contsantine. It is about 10 min. from Mottville Mi. and 15,20 min. from white pigeon.
If I remember rite you take M-103 to the camel bridge. Turn left, then turn right on the first road . You take this untill you come to a dirt road on the left follow this to the second stop sign. This will be a dead end turn right. This should still be a dirt road. You will come to a church on the left side. "this is not Brick Chapel Church". Just keep following this road its a long road but youll come across it.
There is a old youth camp across from Al Capones house. This camp has a story all in its self. Any way at the camp it is very abandoned and I heard this was also set fire at a different time. At the side of the road is a single basketball hoop this place is very creepy but if tou find it your in the rite spot. GOOD LUCK
I'm trying to look at this property in Google maps and I'm having trouble finding Camel Bridge. Will you help me out please?

Al Capone's sister did indeed have a house on Gull Road in Kalamazoo. East of Borgess Hospital. When they remodeled it they found copper pipes in basement that were not for the house plumbing, most likely for stills and hidden rooms and cubby holes.
My mother and her sister went Trick or Treating at that house in the early 1930s and were met at the door with a man in a suit with a Tommy Gun. They ran back to their brother's vehicle and did not go there again.

After much searching, I found the house in St. Joe. It is on Highland Ct., across the street from the Carl E. Schultz House. Mr. and Mrs. Schultz lived there when I did. But it appears that part of the Capone house's lot has been subdivided and the beautiful gates are gone. But I think the main house is still there. Does anyone know about this house??

I have grown up in this area my whole life. Recently I have spent a few all nighters out on Purgatory property in Constantine, MI. I lived on the St.Joseph river for years as well. Capone's house was demolished a few years back. The old basketball court fence still stands. The red brick church off peck academy road was also torn down. there is still a cemetary which is neat to roam through and many more headstones are buried in the woods. Dead man's curve is also a neat place to go. More than 30yrs ago a bus slid coming around the curve and dropped a hundred feet saved being wedged between two trees. There are many stories and legends as far as creatures. Truth is Purgatory stretches around 100 acres, there are many pull offs and trails. It's great for off roadin and just relaxing til the sun comes up. There isn't much to look at anymore, but you can still feel the presence of history.
hello Ashley my name is Steve I was wondering if dead mans curve is the curve on peck academy road and if u could give me any othe info I would appreciate it u can email me at stevedill101@gmail.com thank u with any info u can give to me

My Grandfathaer Frank Russti (American Spelling) of Vicksburg Michigan. He was friends with Al Capone. Mr. Capone's sister owned the CloverDale farms northof Kalmazoo near Gull Lake. The property is now a housing development with 10-15 acre lots. The farm was raided several times by the feds. Frank Rusoti was taken care of by Al Capone in his younger years, being the son of an important mobster who live in Sicilly. Kalamazoo County was a nutrual county in the mob world which continues today as a protection to Frank and his family.

Al Capones house in Frankfort Mi. is located on the corner of main st. and michigan ave. It was right next to the old railroad and has underground tunnels that connect it to the hotel/bar, the theater, the old bank and the elementary school. Ive personally seen the ends of the tunnels at the hotel and the school. theres red paint by the tunnel at the school and it in an erie part of the basement. tell people it was blood from old mobsters with angry souls. kinda funny after. anyway the tunnels have since been cemented in and they are nothing more than memory for someone to discover years later

Brenda, I lived a few miles from Brush lake and spent many summer days swimming and fishing in Brush Lake. I lived there from 1976 to 2010. Never once have I heard any rumor about Al Capone having anything to do with that area. I think it's a rumor.

One home used by the Capone Gang is located @ 1400 Kephart Lane in Berrien Springs , Mi. I know because I lived there. At that time it was owned by Myron Hecht. I believe he had purchased it from Andrews University. At the time we lived there it was still historically in tact. The house is now owned and occupied by Mohammed Ali.
Bobbi. Was the property some sort of camp while you lived there? I'm very curious because at one time my family lived on the property. My father was an all around handy man, working with the horses, fixing things etc. My mom worked with the horses (I've heard many stories of the "smartest horse ever" Chips) and doing other things around the camp as well. I believe the Hecht's operated it first as a camp for "city kids" to enjoy country living, then as a camp for handicapped children I believe. My parents and siblings lived in one of the cottages on the property while they worked with the Hecht's. I believe it was during the time it was a camp for handicapped kids, but I can't really remember. Sadly I wasn't born yet when my family lived there, but my parents remained close with the Hechts for many years, and they were there for a long time after the camps closed, before selling to Mr. Ali. Apparently I have been many times, although I was too young to remember much about it. I do remember there was a circle remaining where ponies had been tethered for the young kids to ride, a kind of real merry-go-round, and there were beautiful (but mean!) peacocks. My father used to swear there was a hidden room in the "Mansion", but could never find the entrance. He was always trying to get Myron to tear into the walls. LOL My parents were quite close with the Hecht's and my father passed along stories that Myron had shared about Capone. "Uncle Myron" also enjoyed telling the story about Mr. Ali buying the place. Great entertainment for us kids!
