You don't know the lady so leave her alone. Hello we are in some sort of recession it was bound to happen.

Why should her job pay for what she has done? You don't know her don't judge her. Just because her husband has a criminal record don't judge her.

Yeah she may work as a claims adjuster but do you know what department. She may or may not be in the department that denies claims. Her company should not be responsible for what she did.

The league knew something in January...they should have done something. Tough times make people do wrong things.

God forgives sinners, she will most likely have to pay for this for the rest of her life. She may not be able to work in any field that would allow her to handle finances.

If you work in an insurance industry you would know that checks don't go out without a manager or a supervisor approval. Her insurance company does not need to pay for her mistake.

Leave her alone. She alone is suffering as well as her kids who had nothing to do with this scenario. The kids as well as the little league kids are not at fault should not be penalized for what Penn did.

The league confronted her, she admitted it and yet she still kept doing what she did. Why did the league not stop the credit card or take her off cashier.

Again, don't judge her for what she did.

WE are all in a time where we have no money and are all in financial constraints. All you hear in the claims industry I don't have the deductible. Hello it's not the insurance company fault if you don't have the deductible.

A lot of folks out there use the insurance companies to get money out of them. You will do anything to get money for a claim that may be fraudulent. You may inflate the loss, don't remember when they purchased something or when they were hit or claim the loss 6 months after it happened. Then you want the insurance company to put brand new parts on a vehicle that is 8 years old b/c the vehicle is new to you.

A lot of folks think just because they pay high premiums for the auto insurance that they can scam the insurance company to pay for something that is not in their policy.

Leave Patricia Penn alone. She is already dealing with a lot of things right.

WOW!!!! who ever wrote #23.... must be crazy to try and justify what she did. No matter what the situation is, you DO NOT steal from kids. Little League is an all volunteer league to allow the kids to do what they love... play basbeball. This is not about having money for the snack bar, but the money also goes towards permits for the fields, uniforms, equipment, trophies, etc... being a part of the board for Sunnyvale National... those aren't cheap. I get that sometimes people are financially struggling, and enduring hard times, but that doesn't excuse stealing from kids. I have been a single parent for 14 years, and I have to deal with working pay check by pay check, but I would never dream of taking from my kids or any others. What does that say about you as a parent? Do you think your kids would look upto you knowing what you've done. You've gotta have some dignity and morals. Life is not all fair, but why make others suffer just because you're suffering? I do feel for people who are in a situation that makes them think they have no other choice. No matter what anyone says "THERE IS ALWAYS A CHOICE" and it's upto you to make the right one.

We had the same thing happen to us. We are from a small town and it has taken us 3 to 4 years to come back from a $ 9000 dollar loss. The lady was married to one man then divorced him and married the man that was helping her take the money from our league. We still have not gotten the money back and we took her to court but nothing came of it. So just forget it if you get anything back you'll be lucky. What we had to do was ask parents to pitch in and do various fund rasiers because we did not have enough to file our charter. We raised it by opening day but we had a lot of trouble getting places to donate to us because of the bad press. What we did was find someone that had been president years before. She came back and played the old boy card. She was known by everyone so the agreed to donate.
