High Gas Prices = Unique Gas Crimes

Is this a shocker to you? Crime is going to go up more due to these gas and grocery prices going up.

Can you really blame them? Government isn't trying to help the gas prices, cause they probably get a good some of the profits and they are huge!!
|
|
Yeah- I CAN blame them. Yes- gas prices are ridiculous and there are those making obscene amounts of money as a result. It's horrible especially since there are those who now have to make the choice between filling up their tanks or buying milk and diapers for their kids. But that doesn't excuse or justify crime, nor does it excuse or justify breaking the law. And breaking the law and committing crimes is not going to make gas any more affordable for those committing the crimes or for those who are DECENT law-abiding citizens. |

We will be seeing more crimes like this due to the gas and food problems that our government has put on the consumer. People will do what they have to,it's survival and especially when people are losing their jobs. Thanks To Our Good USA and these piece of craps we have in government-they aren't hurting and still can go where they want to and eat very well thanks to us (we pay for their luxuries)! This is the good ole USA and I for one love this country, but am so ashamed at all this mess our government has gotten us into and helping all these other countries, letting everyone in this country and don't take care of the people who live here now and were born and raised in America! Shame on them and God help these GREEDY GREEDY no good rich who just want more! We have a higher price to pay,if not here on earth than a higher power than these greedy people know!

I owned a gas station for 13 years and the new dispencers out there all come with, if you can beleive this, remote controls. If I still had one I could turn on any Wayne-Dresser dispencer, which is the most popular dispencer sold, and get as much gas as I wanted and no one inside would be able to tell I was dispencing fuel. Scary but true and I am sure I am not the only one whose had access to one of those remotes!!

How stupid are these people? Why not just take one vehicle at a time........might not have gotten caught as fast.

This is just a symptom of a much larger problem.
Our leaders have set an example of disregard for the laws of the land, mismanaged the economy into a recession, and condoned every possible form of graft. They've set the stage for revolution. |

i dont agree with stealing. but what do they accept people to do. normal working Americans can't afford these gas prices.

But Lisa that still does not give the the right to take what is not theirs.
Maybe if we stop buying from companies that import their oil that would bring the prices down.......I am willing to try anyway. Here is a list of companies that import oil and companies that don't. It is listed on the Dept of Energy Site: These companies import Middle Eastern oil: Shell..205,742,000 barrels Chevron/Texaco.. 144,332,000 barrels Exxon /Mobil.. 130,082,000 barrels Marathon/Speedway..17,740,000 barrels Amoco..62,231,000 barrels And CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by Dictator Hugo Chavez who hates America and openly avows our economic destruction! Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil: Sunoco.. 0 barrels Conoco.. 0 barrels Sinclair.... 0 barrels BP / Phillips.. 0 barrels Hess. 0 barrels ARC0.. 0 barrels Maverick..0 barrels Flying J..0 barrels Valero.. 0 barrels Guess I will buy from Hess. |

Guess I will buy from Hess. [/QUOTE] That's funny, the Hess in my neighborhood is 8 cents higher than any other gas station. Wonder where they import their gas from? And did you know that most of the oil imported into this country comes from....CANADA?! |

Bryon Wolf, Mr. Wolf, Bryon W. Wolf, Bryon W Wolf says: Do not buy Citgo.

Here are the Top 10 companies that the US imports oil from...in order! 1. Canada 2. Mexico 3. Saudi Arabia 4. Venezuela 5. Nigeria 6. Angola 7. Iraq 8. Algeria 9. United Kingdom 10. Brazil 90% of the oil US uses is refined in the US. Less than 40% of that was oil pumped right here in the good ole' US of A! LESS THAN 40%!!! In 2005 the US only produced 4.86 million barrels/day. The lowest amount in 50 years!!!!! Believe it or not, the US is the 3rd largest oil producer!! Saudi and Russia are #1 and #2.(as of 2005) We need to be pumping our own oil instead of buying it from other countries! We need to stop listening to all the tree-huggin, dirt worshipping ultra-Liberals who go nuts at the very thought of drilling our own oil! |
|
|
We will see the crime rate rise the more desperate people get. It is absolutely ridiculous what the prices are!!! I'm not condoning crime but what do youe expect?
