YES a ski are will work. I wastn't around for the 'other' Pikes Peak area and always wondered why it wasn't reopened toady with the huge increase in population in COS. True we don't have the moisture that the other areas get but with the modern snow making equipment it is very possible to have the necessary snow. It would be less then an hours drive for those in COS and for me just a few minutes!!!

WOW, Colorado is THAT desparate? The good ol' hillbillies should have had more sense. The 500s have left town, the brain-dead builders are continuing to build whole developments that sit empty, and no one is returning with any jobs.

I guess it figures - put up another ski resort..........

I agree with Queue.. It's a moronic idea.

The selfish guy in Woodland Park likes the idea if his property value climbs .. His foolish wild fantasy of having a cash cow like Telluride or Aspen or Steamboat. It won't ever happen, and it would be no different than Nederland to Eldora, because there is no way it will ever be a destination resort like I've mentioned above.

That mountain has been abused enough.. Leave it alone.
