Thank you for the correction: Do you happen to know when Jim White died and where he is buried?

Was born in LaFollette, raised in Caryville. The only thing that stretch of road has going for it, is that it's secluded and can be very creepy at night. There have been tragic events take place out there over the span of years that have somehow become fodder for crazy stories, such as the "Goat Man" or whatever in the heck they are calling it.(Red Ash Cult is my favorite one, LOL)
The story about Hmmmm.....
First of all I want to assure the record show not all visiting investigation teams disrespect the graveyard. I've been there twice n both times I've left with only personal experiences and other peoples trash!!! All of our research it to gain knowledge not to poke n prode at myths n legend! Turley is a beautiful place n id love to be rested there ..but alas I'm not family but respect it as I were! I feel the Robert Jones story is just that a lavish story built by wandering minds over the years to keep people out of the cemetery! The woods on the other hand ...well lets just say I feel something is in there and I'm not easily convinced! I am a skeptic and renain so. And furthermore I fulky agree if u can't respect others stay away these are ppls family and you wld wanna rest in peace too! I'm srill looking for the witch house but fairly uncertain that ill find it here! Remember folks every township has its legends weither u like it or not they wont go away ...EVER!!! If anyone knows the location of the real witch house in caryville please feel free to email me at [email protected] or contact my paranormal group at . We are only here to search for answers to the questions we all have. Thanks n have a great day

<quoted text> It not a witches hose. Up untill a few years ago it was a private residece. It is now goverment land or TVA, anyway it is private property. I have been there....I didnt go in but Yes John and Homes and Haunted Places was with Paranormal Spectrum. There was some strange things that happend and alot of things were heard. As far as John making a movie, well I guess we will have to wait and see. I enjoy being a part of Homes and Haunted Places. As far as disrespecting the dead, we mean no one any harm and intend to offend no one. We only want to learn what we can about the people and thier times. If we run into a spirit and it wants to communicate then what is the harm? We dont REMOVE anything or ortrash anything. I have more respect for people and their loved ones. I have loved ones that have gone on and if someone can communicate with them then I hope they would let me know but I will not accuse them of trashing or removing somehing.I have spirits in my home....One is of a child. I seem to be able to communicate with the spirit of child past. This is why I find talking with them so very interresting. If you ever experience this then you will know.
I was wondering if you could give me the address or maybe directions. I have a lot of equipment and such that I want to use. That seems like a great place start. So please let me know. I wanna use it local before I head to lebanon and such. You can email it to me at [email protected]

Is the gated grave in the grave yard or is it off to it self.

the grave of Mr. Jones has been severely desecrated; the enclosure has been removed/destroyed and the gravestone itself has been broken..

Yes, all I can tell you is this. They call it no business because because if you're not from there you have no business being there.

There is no activity there. Did you folks not read the past post about the people who made up the stories? You people need to explore elsewhere.
BTW, I know some of the people that made up some of the stories and I was there at one instance and I can promise you, none of them disturbed the graveyard and we did not desecrate anything, or litter.

Sorry but some of you are full of crap. I know the people that made up these stories you're all repeating. We were there a few times and there is nothing supernatural. There appears to be a very natural power of suggestion happening with a lot of silly folks though.

I carried both to their graves.

I grew up in the Caryville area and had family that lived up in the Red Ash/Royal Blue area. Actually, my family lived at the end of Titus Hollow Road, where Royal Blue Church is (the little white Church at the end of the gravel road). My family first lived in an old house that was behind that church in the mid 1980s and then that was torn down and they moved to what is now a swamp/marsh area down from the church (used to be two old houses that set there). I can assure you that back in the early80s/mid80s and even into the early/mid 1990s, actual, average people lived up there. The house that they are calling the 'witch's house'(sets on TWRA land and is painted a horrid, ghastly green color) that house was lived in by a pretty average family for a long time. I remember seeing them living there when we'd go visit our family. The brown house that is now the TWRA house was lived in by a family back then as well.

Most of these stories about a 'goat man' and 'witch's house' weren't even around when I was in high school back in the mid to late 1990s. I have no idea where they originated, but they are just that: stories with no basis. While I'm not discounting that actual paranormal activity may occur in that area because a lot of tragic events have occurred up that road (including the murder of a young, pregnant girl back in the late 80s/early 90s), a lot of thrill seekers are destroying what's left of the houses and graveyards because of the stupid stories being spread around by morons. For instance, the poor soul that had the gated grave at Turley? That grave had set there and set there for decades with no much as a single disturbance. My family has distant relatives buried in that graveyard and we would sometimes visit the graves so I remember that grave distinctly. Through the power of suggestion, that poor man's grave has become a shrine to paranormal idiocy and has pretty much been desecrated. I know some groups do come up and do professional investigations but for the most part, a lot of young people come up there and raise hell for a thrill.

I was up there recently and the gate has been taken down but the Angel with the cup in her hands is still there. I respect the deceased and would never purposely step on any of their graves and if I do, I say I'm sorry. I also put flowers and decorations back that have been scattered by storms or disrespectful people to the graves of those that I may think that they belong to. I find so much peace walking through cemeteries because in the end, you don't have to suffer or worry anymore like we do here on earth. Red Ash is a peaceful place with so much history that you definitely don't have to worry about me being there as a visitor as I do have so much respect.

I know, I'm weird but I believe in what you give you shall receive, even after death.
