Adultworld needs your attendance monday oct 12 at 6pm at the caryville municiple building 4839 old hwy 63 caryville tn it is off exit 134 if your going i 75 north turn left off the exit maybe a mile on left past shoneys the reason for the meeting is that the city is trying to use ordinances to shut down adult world . although adult world was opened in 2002 when there was not existing ordinances . If u do not want to see this store shut down come out and support the store. If they get away with this what will other cities do when they see this little city succeed in shutting this business down they will end up going after other places that cater to alternate life styles such any and all night clubs especially the gay clubs so please if u do not want to see this happen come out and support your rights to freedom. Knoxville has plenty of these places. Why are you worried about this establishment shutting down? Personally, I wish they would shut the place down. Just stay over in Knoxville John, and worry about Knoxville's business! I would say it would be best if you stay out of our "little town" on the 12th. This is a close knit community, and everybody knows just about everyone that lives here in our "little town".

thats a good idea, shut adult world down, that way everyone could drive to knoxville and give them those tax dollars, heres another, lets shut down all the tobacco shops, they give you cancer,next we can do all the fast food places,i hear they make you fat,if you don't like something,then don't go there,and as far as our little town,that's why we have to pay that stupid garbage tax,plus the hydrant maintence fee,for how long now. sometimes you need to keep an open mind,even though it is hard to do,either that or lets just have a dictatorship. i personally do not want the government, big or small controlling me.

i think the city and adult world should sit down and discuss these issues, for the life of me i cannot figure out why the city is not interested in working this situation out,but then again they usaually don't work with anyone. we don't need this mess and this lawsuit going on, what happened to the progress in caryville, we are all supposed to work toghether. shouldn't change the rules in the middle of the game.

I have lived here for several years and one thing that i have noticed is this town is run by a bunch of old ass people who already have theirs.Dont want to do anything for this county that will help it grow.Wont even create something for our youth to do. They would rather keep everyone held back so they cant get where they are.I chose to let my son live in Atlanta,GA.with his mother, so he would have a better education and more opp. Maybe if the younger generation cared more about this place, we could vote these old f$*#s out. You say you have lived here for several years? So, by the way I take it you didn't grow up in Campbell County, is that right? So, you chose to let your son live in Atlanta, Georgia? The city that has a very very high crime rate. Where murders go on daily. I would much rather have my son live in a place like Caryville or any other town in Campbell County. I know there is crap that goes on here, but Atlanta Georgia would be the last place I would want my son living! I grew up in Caryville, and I realize there are alot of older people that are set in their ways, but that is everywhere! I think Campbell County needs a good county mayor! Somebody that will work hard, and wants industry in this county! Alot of people just want it to be a retirement community for the yankees! I say heck with the yankees, and I have lived in Campbell County my whole life. Yes, your son "might" be getting a better education in Atlanta, but the opportunity he could get here also. When he gets older he might have to drive out of town to work (like most people do), but I would much rather have my child be living in a town with a bunch of old farts, than living where a drive by could be going on at this very second. I think we need a Boys & Girls club in this area, so kids will have somewhere to go after school if their parents aren't at home.

You don't even have a clue! That stupid garbage tax your talking about is used for police protection, salt in the winter for roads, mowing road right ways & maintenance, employees salaries, and so on. The hydrant maintenance fee is to make sure your hydrant is working properly (just in case you have a fire at your house). So, this is what some of those fees are used for. I don't want Caryville known as the place that has a adult world store. I would much rather people know it has having a beautiful state park. I think you need to keep an open mind.

i really would like to address caryville girl, i don't know where you get your info from but it is wrong. that fire hydrant fee does not take care of those fire hydrants, it goes for paying that firetruck for the last how many years, the garbage fee is because these people do not know how to run a business, so they keep adding fees,we wasted how much money for those stupid interstate lights,but yet we cannot even fix the town up, so go ahead take adult world away,cause i guarentee you will pay more, if you don't like the channel turn it, but it is a shame that this town has to stay the same, foe every bad thing, some good comes out of it, it is the good ole boy syndrome, there is nothing here for the kids because they don't want anything to disrupt their old way of life, and because so many are afraid of change unless enough people get out here to change it it will evenutally wither and die,so i would respectfully suggest that you go around caryville and see what your firehydrants look like. and i do believe that i did say that you need to keep and open mind. now something i believe we are known as is the meth capital, so maybe we also need to get rid of the motels.
