I already love Stone Creek Village and I am so excited about the new Park Place and Searstone Developments going in. Luckily, the developers of Park Place won the lawsuit filed against them by some stubborn homeowners and now construction is about to start on this North Hills type development. It is going to be awesome over here.

It's nice now, but I'm concerned that the Crossland development on the north east corner will make a traffic zoo and eventually turn into a ghost town because the roads are insufficient for the size of the development. It would be much better situated along I-540.

I'm also quite frustrated by the technique of gaining approval: Describe a plan, receive objections from the neighbors, and revise the shape of the plan to invalidate the objections of the neighbors. See http://www.davisandhighhouse.org/

Yes, I am aware of how the approval was given and I applaud it. There were very few residents that were just trying to cause as much trouble as possible, so they were taken out of the equation. Now they will have to pay the legal fees for such a rediculous law suit.

Some people say this intersection has problems, but I live there and it is a breeze. You never have to wait more than one light cycle. There is more traffic during rush hour, but nothing bad. There will be extra lanes built with the "Park Place" development that Croslands is going to build. It will bring in more traffic from outsiders coming in, but will also reduce local traffic going out as we can all walk to it. Traffic will not be nearly as bad as some dooms dayers are claimimg. Even with extra traffic, I am loving it. It will be a dream come true to not have to use my car at all. I will be able to walk to everyhting I could ever need.

Oh, the same developer that has a law suit against the local citizens because they dared protest this massive and out-of-place development. Yep, someone is being paid to blog this $*&#. Here is the truth:

Yep, the 12 idiot home owners who would not stop harrassing the developer who IS going to put in a great development that the other 120,000 residents actually want. The project was already approved after many hearings and downsized to make everyone happy. Even after that, these 12 people just had to file another law suit. Well guess what, THE JUDGE agreed that the residents are WRONG and now they have to pay up.

HA! They got what they deserved and now I get my upscale shopping center.

Life is Goooooood!

I guess you were not a City Hall that night when they filled it up and had several hundred folks standing outside in the cold. For the first time in a long time, the Mayor was afraid and called out the riot police. I wonder why?
