I dont know why people like the second poster get so mad when questions are asked about the thief who stold tens of thousands of dollars from the taxpayers of this city. Close to $75,000.00 I think was the final amount. Yes it is out business and have the right to know. She was a public employee being paid by the citizens of this city. Just dont understand why some people get so offended when questions are asked about this thief.

Has she shown any remorse? I don't think so. Oh yeah, she's sorry she got caught. Forgot about those crocodile tears.

If she were truely sorry she would not have had her case transferred from Pemiscott county to Mississippi county back to Pemiscott county and finally Dunklin county. She would have pleaded guilty, taken responsibility for her actions and started repaying and making restitution for the debt instead of dragging it through the courts for several years hoping the citizens of Caruthersville would forget. We have not forgotten.

She was a bitch to everyone while she was rolling in our stolen money, now she wants everyone to pretend like it didnt happen. Hope she gets as much jail time as a common thief would get. She should get more.

hell yeah people!!!she's as guilty as sin but she ain't alone.lets make damn sure we get all the others who didn't do their jobs in the first place or they were in on it from the beginning.no blind eyes in this one lets make everyone involved pay their dues as well.enough fall guys for the guilty.paper trails and computer programming is all the proof we need to catch these crooks.no one and i mean no one stole the amount of money over the period of time as this girl did and did it alone!!!how can there be an audit every 3 months over a period of two and a half years or so,and no questions were asked about the missing money or the unpaid water bills at the city council meetings every monday.miss paying your water bill by one penny and you get warned or shut off.they laugh at how they got away with everything at their country club get togathers and council meetings, just how stupid the people in this town really are and they get away with what ever they want to.dirty politics and cheating leaders running this town needs to be done away with.i for one am sick of the bullshit, how about we take a stand and do something for a change people.if not then get use to high water bills or whatever else they decide to make us pay.i hope for the sake of our city something positive comes from this mess.god bless!!!!

Anyone in a position of public trust should be held to a much higher standard; jail time should exceed that of a common thief. not only that, she hid all this time behind the cloak of Christianity.

I know Angie is guilty she said so her self. But what about the adjustments that were going on.before she got there? Where did that money go? What about the audits over the past three years of it? Why did no one say anything? Was it becUse they were dipping too? What about the reason our rates when up so much? They say to pay for her stealing but they didn't jack up them now for stealing from years ago and the insurance bond company already paid all that back to city and are gonna go after her for it. So we aren't paying that because it has been paid. And why does window say no more adjustments but every month there is adjustments at council meeting? Who's getting them? Wherds that money?

Why on earth would the citizens of Caruthersville even be responsible for paying back what SHE stole? I don't think it's very fair that I work hard to pay my bills the right and legal way and now I have to get ripped off every month to have water because someone else stole from the city!

Is that why not long after all of this happened our water bills shot up? Too much of a coincidence if you ask me. Even if the insurance paid for it I'm sure the city had to lose something in all of this.
