This is another one of your completely redundant, predicitable posts that is not even worthy of a reply - SO I WILL MAKE NO REPLY TO THIS POST...
Alumni,

Now you've joined the other Democrats by lying. You said you would reply to my post but in posting that you did.

You have never given a single hard fact to back up anything that you've said and on this very thread you made a slanderous post about a non-existent love affair that never happen. You've attacked the works of Ayn Rand and the movie about what four more years of President Obama could do to this country but you admitted you've never read the book or seen the movie. Reading Cliff Notes doesn't count. If you tried to do a book report based on Cliff notes you'd get an F in an English or Literature Class.

You are totally disrespectful of everyone, you insult people and you slam everyone who doesn't agree with you. You go off on rants about now the Democrats will hold the Presidency for decades when your own numbers don't add up. Eight years of President Obama and eight years of Secretary Clinton comes to 16 years but to make the math come out you included Celeste.

I meant what I said on the other thread. I'm very gravel concerned for you and the medications the home is giving you and if you are not in a home, your family needs to give serious thought to placing you there.

Your disrespectful rants and ravings are really quite delusional.

John Doe,
Sounds like you've got way too much time on your hands! Just take this last post of yours. How many times have you said the very same thing over & over & over & over - You're like a broken record. You know, I understood what you said the first time you said it (although I didn't agree with you)- I understood what you said.(you don't have to keep repeating it over & over.

I'll have you know I will rant & rave all I want to on this forum - and if you don't like it - I suggest you quit reading my posts!!!

Alumni,

I have too much time on my hands? Really? And I will continue and respond to posts. Someone has to shine sunlight on your rants and faves. I am still gravely concerned about you delusional state.

I repeat myself over and over again? Maybe so but at least what I post is accurate, truthful hard facts backed up by nonpartisan websites. You can say the same. My posts are at least respectful of politicians. I may not like any of them personally but I grant the respect of the offices that they hold or have held but you sure don't.

The matter of you going to heaven might be a moot point - if you don't start living right! But, I do believe the bible says we will have a new body- a spiritual body. But, I do hope you're just kidding me about losing 3 fingers...

I can't believe you bought an alligator farm!!! Why would anyone in Louisana need to buy an alligator farm since they seem to be so plentiful.

My youngest son lives in Louisana & I've heard him say that in southern Louisana, it's not unusual to see an alligator crawling across your yard!

One time years ago, when my husband & I were down there visiting - our son took us on a boat tour through a big swamp. I think he said it was the biggest or longest swamp in Louisana or maybe the world (can't remember which). We saw several alligators on this excursion. It was a bit unsettling - since I was afraid one of them gators might take a notion to try to climb into the boat with us!

He also took us on a trip to Avery Island (I think that's what it's called). Anyhow, I think this is where they make Mcalhaney Hot Sauce. He even took us through the factory where they manufacture it & then we toured the beautiful grounds & park on which the Mcalhaney factory was located.(didn't see any gators there though). I think he said this was near one of the largest salt mines in the country.

He also took us on a tour through several large plantation homes (one of these homes has been used to make several movies). I think the remake of the movie "The Long Hot Summer" used this mansion as a backdrop.(I think this home is called "Oak Alley") since the front entrance/drive is graced on either side by long rows of those big oak trees where the branches nearly touch the ground. It is just georgous! I think those trees were planted by a Frenchman (the owner several hundreds of years ago).

I just love visiting Louisana - I would like to tour every plantation home in the state! I also remember touring a mansion called "Shadows on the Tesh". This was a smaller less elaborate mansion - almost right in the middle of town.

But, the story the guide told of 'Shadows on the Tesh" & how during the civil war, the Union soldiers were treated so graciously by the family living in the mansion - that the soldiers refused to burn the mansion & even let the wife & children live in the second story, while the Union soldiers occupied the ground floor - was very touching.(the master of this home was away from home (across the country) on business.

Do you ever vist the plantation homes? I've got literature & pictures on several of these mansions.

Red,
I probably owe you an apology - because I thought you were kidding about losing 3 fingers to an alligator. I CERTAINLY HOPE YOU WERE KIDDING!!!

But, just on the chance that this really did happen to you - I am so so sorry & sincerely wish for you a speedy, pain-free recovery & adjustment to life with the loss of these 3 fingers.

I just thought you might be comforted by the following scriptures which gives us some insight into what will happen to our bodies when we die...

(1 Corinthians 15: 37-44) "And that which thou sowest (bury), thou sowest not that BODY that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat or some other grain.

But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed his own body. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of MEN, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for on star differeth from another star in glory.

So also is the RESSURECTION of the DEAD. It is SOWN (buried) in corruption, it is RAISED in incorruption:

It is SOWN (buried) in dishonor; it is RAISED in glory; it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

It is sown (buried) a NATURAL BODY; It is raised a SPIRITUAL BODY. There is the NATURAL BODY, and there is a SPIRITUAL BODY."

Yes, It's recently been discovered that Paul Ryan,(Mitt Romney's Vice Pres. elect) has had a long time love affair for an OLDER WOMAN! Of course, that woman died in 1982 - but still the influence she had over Paul Ryan lingers on in his heart even today.
That woman was AYN RAND, a Russian author who's had more influence on Ryan's thinking & his political views than anyone else in his life. Paul Ryan was so enamoured of Rand's work - that even gave out copies of her books to everyone he knew he knew in congress in & in DC.
Ayn Rand was an atheist & an adultress who had some pretty far-out beliefs. She believed & taught that the extremely wealthy people were a special breed & everyone should not only look up to them - but almost worship at their feet! She believed extremely people were called out to more or less have dominion over everyone else.
Ayn Rand also believed & taught that anyone who was not extremely wealthy - were just looters and nothing more than parasites and hangers on to the extremely wealthy.
Now does this give you some insight into Paul Ryan's thinking? I understand (since being selected as GOP VP elect) that Ryan has toned down some of his more radical views - which he learned from AYN Rand. But, deep down, he harbors these racial beliefs.
You know, this answers a lot of questions of why Ryan and other members of the Republican party have become so very radical in their views of giving big tax breaks to the rich - and yet have so little regard for the middle class, working poor, poor, the sick & elderly.
I would be willing to bet that Rush Limbaugh is also an ardent fan of AYN RAND'S racical attitude toward the rich & poor.
Can you just imagine what would happen to our country & society, it Republicans with these radical beliefs manage to gain control of both the senate, the house & also win the presidency???
Ryan was only 12 years old when this woman died.

Willow, Willow, Willow,
You seem to be missing the point altogether! This thread is not about a physical love affair!

This thread is to let people know that Paul Ryan embraces the same beliefs as those of Ayn Rand! And as such, Ryan could do serious damage to this country if he were to become Vice President.

Now, to understand what Ayn Rand' beliefs are & what she wrote about & preached - you'll have to go to the first part of this thread. I'm not going to repeat myself.

Now, the reason this thread is titled "Paul Ryan's Secret Love Affair" is for pure shock value only - to catch topix readers' attention! Just like the tabloids have been doing for years.

I know Topix readers well enough to know they wouldn't be able to resist a chance to hear about a "secret love affair" by our Vice Prsident nominee...

She did John, you're just to dense to get it. It's a journalistic device, like hyperbole or understatement or writer-ly devices, or metaphor and simile are figures of speech.
You have no imagination John!

Guest,

I have plenty of imagination and intelligence. I am also smart enough to tell the difference between a lie and the truth. The title of this thread is a lie. Alumni can say whatever she wishes to say about why used it but the truth is that the title is a lie
