You people that put your xmas decorations up
before Thanksgiving make me sick. When the time
arrives I will slither around your trees at Midnight and steal all your presents, and give them to little Cindy Woo Hoo!

Blame the retailers for stocking their shelves early, blame the City for decorating the street lights early, blame the advertisers, tis the season to make MONEY.

If you notice the ones who are putting them up are the people that have big family gatherings and only do such to try and impress people. I am not impressed, it's tasteless. People will see when Christmas comes around. Let's do Thanksgiving first

My family gathers at thanksgiving from all over, Fl.Ms. etc. We all stay home for Christmas with our children and grandchildren. Whats the big deal ? Can't we grandparents celebrate with our sisters and brothers? We are a very close family always have been and may not see another one all alive and together. It is a big blessing to us.
Find something else to whine about!

If those decorations bother you so much. I suggest you drive by those houses at a high rate of speed and close your eyes.

dear Guest01, jesus was born in the springtime, and he doesn't care about ridiculous human traditions.

Ha! Ha! You funny. Were you being mean or just trying to be a comedian?
PS I know who you are and what you did last summer.

Please tell me how Jesus was born in the springtime? He was crucified and rose again in the springtime.

Most people put their decorations up when the weather is good before it gets too cold. I guess it is their business when they turn them on.

Dear Guest01 , It's common knowledge among most theologians that jesus was born in the springtime. There is much evidence to support this. For one, the census that mary and joseph were going to Bethlehem for, would have happend in the spring..that's just one example. Just ask your pastor, if he actually graduated from a reputable Bible College and studied Hemeneutics...If he is only a preacher with no actual schooling, he's probably as ignorant as you are on the subject. Geez, you Christians really think you know stuff, but you don't. So MERRY XMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR

Thank You.. I hope we are to! I have been doing this for most of my married life. My home is bigger and well were in the middle of everyone
so we all meet here. My parents and my brother and sister always meet up on thanksgiving so they can be with their kids and gkids on Christmas. So I put the tree up and do the gifts for all of them and of course they bring theirs and we all have a wonderful weekend! It is even more important since we are the next ones to pass, I hope my kids keep up the traditions and stay close when we are gone. Family means everything to me.
