Commenting on President Barack Obama’s remarks that he will not wait on congressional legislation but will instead use his pen to take executive and administrative actions, conservative talk-radio host Mark Levin said what Obama was doing constituted “a gradual, quiet coup,” or takeover of the government.
Levin added that Obama’s language equaled the “common parlance of the dictator.”
Obama said: "But one of the things that I'll be emphasizing in this meeting is the fact that we are not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we're providing Americans the kind of help that they need. I've got a pen, and -- and I've got a phone. And I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions that move the ball forward.”
Levin said,“He’s just announced that he is going to assume law-making powers. He’s just announced that he is going to assume law-making powers. He does not recognize the [Republican Party] majority in the House of Representatives. I don’t know how much more clearly he can say it.”
“You know what this is, folks? You know what this is? This is a gradual, quiet coup,” said Levin, a constitutional scholar and former chief of staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese.“That’s what’s taking place. It’s gradual. It’s quiet in the sense that it’s non-violent. But it’s a coup.”
A second audio clip of Obama was then played. The president said,“One of the things that I'm going to be talking to my Cabinet about is how do we use all the tools available to us, not just legislation, in order to advance a mission that I think unifies all Americans –”
Levin then said,“Stop! This is the common parlance of the dictator: assuming that he represents all Americans, that he’s a unifying figure, that we just need to concentrate more power in his hands. He will decide what laws are good, what laws are bad. He will use executive orders to pass laws that Congress won’t pass. And he will ignore laws he doesn’t like, and he’ll re-write laws that he wants to re-write like Obamacare and so forth. This is the mindset and the language that dictators have.”
A coup, or coup d’etat, occurs when a small group of people overthrow or alter the existing government.

Thanks for the comforting words well, but I don't really need them. I don't listen to talk radio, being a working taxpayer, I don't have time for such stuff. I found this article by following a computer link, and it has a lot of commonsense points you must admit.
The President definitely doesn't mind lying like a dog, so you can check that part off as true. He uses the executive order pin to do more than make recess appointments like prior presidents. He has a penchant for using the pin to usurp laws already past by congress. He also likes to ignore any laws that don't further his left wing socialist garbage he appears addicted to. Hopefully the supreme court will straighten some of that trash out.
Then you have his inability to carry on a conversation with anyone who politically opposes any of his policies. I mean, you have to admit, he looked super childish in the O'Reilly interview. He doesn't have the personal confidence to even talk and work with congressional democrats, much less republicans...lol
The goober is a joke as president and I'm sure he himself has figured that out. You never know, he could decide he would do better following the lead of someone like Castro or the drunken idiot in North Korea...
Anyway, don't worry about me. I guarantee you, I can stand it as long as you can. I'll continue to keep you informed of his screwups on a daily basis. Easy to do and I don't mind.
