I hope the dollar and my 401K does a little rebound today, geeezzz.

It's not like they didn't already know this guy. Why all of a sudden the big drop in the dollar? Did they not pay attention during the last 4 years? Or, were they betting on the American people beig a little mor intelligent than to step in the same cow pie twice??

I mean, this isn't Greece or Spain, where all the kids get out of school able to do reading, writing and arithmatic or something. This is america! We're special ~ If we want to print up a bunch of money every day, all day long, 7 days a week 365 days a year, we will!!!

Screw the rest of the world! We got free birth control for our women and free checks (or two, ore three) for our lazy, and thats the way its going to be!

Get over it world!

The DOW has gained 68% since Obama was elected in 2008.
I can't remember exactly how much it lost under our last Republican President GW Bush. But it was a lot!

The Stock market fell another 125 points today and the value of the dollar continues to slide…

Well, don’t worry.

The bullshitter-in-chief will talk to the nation tomorrow night, with special emphasis on the economy. After the election results, big companies started announcing layoffs and job cuts as Obama care, new taxes and the New Year’s fiscal cliff looms closer. It now looks like a second recession is a done deal. Which begs the question, are we really out of the first Obama recession?

The problem is really very simple.
In America, the “takers” now outnumber the “makers”. Democrats and liberal Republicans will only get away with printing huge gobs of money to give their loyal “takers” their sugar fix for so long, then the jig will be up. As a side note…I wonder why we only allow immigrants who are ignorant and uneducated to enter this country? They can just walk across the border and be made to feel right at home ( Health care, housing, etc.) Why don’t we recruit immigrants from educated countries like Cuba or some of those poor eastern block countries where education is a real priority for their kids? I guess they don’t assimilate with the “takers” in the Democratic Party and vote themselves more free stuff as quickly. Heck, they probably want jobs…lol

Anyway, I digress…
Every man-woman-child owes about $215,000 each as their part of the national debt. Roughly half of those belong to the “takers” camp and have no intention of paying the first penny. Hell, they’re demanding more every day, forget about pay anything. So that increases the amount the “makers” owe to over $400,000 each. Paying all that money back ain’t going to happen.

I think we will soon all be able to forget about silly stuff like republicans, democrats maybe even elections. The national crash is coming. I don’t think it has anything to do with Dec.21 either. Good luck and remember…

The second amendment is your friend.

These are extraordinary times Bill.

Warren and most of his buddies may still call America home but their money has left. And by the way, they sent the jobs with them. The puppets in Washington are but useful tools left behind to operate the FEMA camps and be sure the trains run on time…

The game has changed. The second amendment is your friend. Stock up.

For your information, everyone and anyone on this site can read the posts I made to stop the bickering and end the partisanship attitudes. The requests I have made have fallen on deaf ears. Yours and his. I don't know what magical powers you are attributing to me that I can stop anyone from saying what they want to say. Even if I had such a power, I would never use it. I am not one to suppress free speech. All I have ever want from anyone was to be truthful. I'm finding honesty and truth are a rare commodity on here.

Tell you what Doug. I started a thread about a law what that was passed and signed into that does limit free speech. I blame the members of Congress that voted to pass law, no matter what side of the aisle that they are on and I blame President Obama for signing the bill into law. What are you doing? Arguing an election that is in the past, pointing out what the other side is doing wrong and why they are wrong and basically finger pointing playing the old game Gotcha. You keep that up, as for me I am moving forward and trying to work out something I can do about this law that limits free speech.

I've hunted since a pellet gun is all dad would let me carry, hold a ccw, and really believe my wife will question my sanity if i buy any more guns or ammo, so I agree I love the 2nd. 1st of the layoffs due to election were announced today, heart goes out to the 150 coal employees who got laid off just in time for thanksgiving. These are indeed tough times, and unfortunately they do have the potential to get harder. I dont see the giant killing the goose though comrade, he's simply shaking all the golden eggs out. I don't know how diverse or close to retirement you are, but i wouldnt jump out the window yet.

You know John D that HR347 became law during the Clinton administration, if I’m not mistaken. I don’t like giving the government the power to throw someone in the slammer for simply speaking their mind.

Tell me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think Clinton ever used it and Bush for sure didn’t use it. I’m thinking the EXCUSE for such a law was to “help control mob action” at G-7 meetings, Party conventions, inaugurations, things of that sort.

The big problem with a law like that is abuse. You never know. Some day we may have a real Bullshitter-in-Chief who can’t stand for American patriots to stand up and disagree when the Presidents bullshit starts to runneth over. He could have a totally corrupt AG who would go after and prosecute you to the max for something as simple as calling the administration corrupt.

You never know when an ignorant populace will elect such a dirt bag who may invoke the law. To me, that is the real danger.

Abuse.

Chip away, chip away, chip away.

We'll limit their freedom to speak today, Take away a certain kind of gun tomorrow. They really don't need to be smoking those cigs. They should be able to get by on 40% of their salary, we get the rest. We need to tell them which doctor they can see and what procedure is appropriate for their age. You can’t say that Christian prayer here! Take a little more of their money if they don't wear that helmet or buckle that seat belt. We know better what their kids need to eat at school. Put those bibles away, we don't allow them here. Here, take this free birth control, we got too many of you running around now. You've got to have this insurance, not that one. Stop! Stop! Go!
Chip away, Chip away,

Chip away. Don't those stupid proles know its all for their own good? If we don’t work, they’ll give us everything free and take care of us for life, all we have to do is vote for them and do as they dictate.

Nancy, Harry and Barry wouldn't lie.

As of 3:30 p.m.11/14/12, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 158 points, or 1.2%, to 12600, the S&P 500 dropped 15.9 points, or 1.2%, to 1359 and the Nasdaq Composite slumped 30.4 points, or 1.1%, to 2854.

Every S&P 500 sector was recently to the downside. Industrials, such as Boeing (BA), took a particularly heavy thrashing. Materials, like Potash (POT), and financials, such as Bank of America (BAC), tumbled as well.
The Nasdaq slid into correction territory, falling 10.7% from an intraday high of 3196 on September 21.

News that Israel fired several rockets into Gaza, killing a top Hamas military commander also came as a concern for market participants. In particular, market participants worried about the prospects of a new armed conflict in the highly-volatile region that also produces a large swath of the world's oil.

Indeed, oil prices got a big boost from the rising tension in the Middle East. The benchmark oil contract rallied 94 cents, or 1.1%, to $86.32 a barrel. Wholesale New York Harbor gasoline gained 0.95% to $2.679 a gallon. Gold gained $5.30, or 0.31%, to $1,730 a troy ounce.

The Commerce Department said U.S. retail sales fell 0.3% in October from September, more than the 0.2% decline expected, and the first drop since June. Excluding the auto segment, sales were unchanged from September. Economists were expecting a 0.2% gain. Hurricane Sandy had a negative and positive impact on sales, according to the Commerce Department.

A separate report at the same time from the Labor Department showed producer prices fell 0.2% in October from September, surprising economists who were expecting a 0.2% gain. Excluding the food and energy components, prices were down 0.2%, the biggest drop since October 2010. Economists were expecting a 0.1% gain.

The DOW may be up 68% since Obama took office but the overall stock market is up 76 % since President Obama took the reins. It has a long long way to fall to be back in Bush/Republican territory.
Why are people acting as though things are worse with Obama? It could not be further from the truth. Bush had this country in a nose diving tail spin. Romney like wise would have done the same.
I think a few people on this board need to open up to possible alternate news sources. Just sayin

What's wrong with you? You sound like you want the economy to fail. You sound like the republicans we have in congress that made it their goal to make sure Obama was a one term President no matter how bad they allowed the economy to get.
Get over it! Your candidate is a loser and Obama is still your President.
I think people like you who wish doom and gloom for America should be exported to another country or at least seek professional help.
