Does anyone know a man named Bill up there? Went in to trade in a battery, still under warranty and the man was extremely rude! When I returned home I made a phone call to him to smooth things over and calm him down! And what do you know he started screaming and cussing me in front of whoever was in the store, and then hung up on me! How professional is that? I hope he gets fired and one day has to take a taste of his own medicine! Poor pathetic people who choose to take out their rage on the innocent! And I'm just a woman! I say we boycott the Caruthersville store, until they learn, customer service comes first!

Call the home office to complain! Should not treat customers that way regardless of right or wrong!

I've already called and left a message with Corporate, who I once worked for, and sent them a detailed email! That man will be lucky have a job on Monday, for the treatment I received! His karma will come!

Well lets not hope for bad things or karma could come back at you too! Maybe this guy is having some family problems or something, everybody has a bad day. Lets say you get this guy fired, now how is he going to feed his family? Would that make you proud if his kids didn't get to eat just because you were not happy with is customer service skills (or lack of)? Sometimes we just need to think about the big picture and ask....what would Jesus do! Have a blessed day!

If it is the "Bill" thats kind of tall and dark hair, then I know exactly who you are talking about. I go in there and everyone speaks except him. I've said hello to him more than once and he ignores me every time. So when I go in there which is rarely now, I dont even acknowledge him. He is rude and thats why I stopped going in there.

Sounds like the same guy Ex Customer! And as for Joe, it appears that this wasn't his first time treating customers in this manner! You posted on this thread for no reason other than to preach at people! If I wanted to be preached at I will go to church! I just need information so his company will know exactly who needs to be reprimanded for their horrible customer service! He obviously shouldn't be in customer service with his attitude! So mind your own business!

What the hell is your problem Irate Customer?!? All Ex Customer was doing was agreeing with you and sharing his experience! Maybe you should calm yourself down and control yourself!! This is topix, a place where everyone has an opinion and your the one who opened yourself up to it. Don't post if you can't handle it!

No it had a 3 year warranty, thank you very much and it's only been 2 years! I worked for O'Reilly's Corporate Office before and I do believe I know their companies policies very well! But your ignorance is amusing!

Even if he had problems at home it's no reason to take it out on a customer, people need to realize a customer could go anyplace to do business, how many time anymore have u been thanked for shopping some where, that's one thing wrong with business anymore, hardly no one is friendly anymore when u go into their business

I totally agree guest! I worked in customer service for ten years and always treated people with respect and kindness no matter what kind of day I was having! Treat people how you want to be treated and most people will respond back positively!

Irate customer you are really right. You should report him. I know some people are having a rough day or just down about something, but it really seems like this is an everyday thing with him and if he is concerned about his job and family then he would have a better attitude and act like he wants a job.

I already emailed corporate and they have already returned my call about my complaint and are calling me back here shortly to discuss further actions to be taken against this man! After what corporate has discussed with me, this man will probably no longer have a job after today!

you got him fired well done. Now you can get a new battery to replace th 2 year old battery. Your first post you said you called the store to SMOOTH things over it sounds like you were rude to him and felt like you needed to call. also it looks like you are posting under several screen names and agreeing with yourself. Hope you sleep good knowing you got someone fired.

No, I post under one screen name and one screen name only, thank you! I was calling to see if the man wanted to change his attitude towards me before reporting him, but he failed to do so! So yes, I will sleep just fine because now no one else will have to suffer from this man's attitude and unprofessional customer service skills! But thanks for your concern! Yeah I'd say you are a loser! You get on here to try and make yourself feel better by talking crap to people! I got on here to find out information and see if others had similar experiences! I did what was right and I am entitled to my opinion! If you have a problem with that then you my dear have very serious issues that don't involve me! So stay out of my business and keep your obvious ignorance to yourself before you make yourself look even more uneducated! Have a wonderful day!
