What a f@cking joke. This sht makes me cringe! I like Chris but don't like how our justice system is so bias. Just shows who you know & who you blow! Such a poor example to children on greed and crime.

If he had been some poor street person the judge would have give him life. A thief is a thief and all should be treated the same, the prisons are full of people that stole a lot less. This is just another reason people hate the justice system. Also when he breaks probation folks will say oh he is a good guy just having a tough time, I say f**k him put his stealing ass in jail and let the cons care for him.

the justice system is a poor mans prison.some people do belong in jail for their crimes they have committed.and some people should never have been put in jail to start with.but when some one in law enforcement who works for the public breaks the law willingly and knowingly commits a crime they should be made an example of for others to witness.if we, as honest american's ,send this message out to our fellow american's,our children, what are we telling them!!!!there has been no justice served here today,we are a shameful nation,no pride,no sense of respect of the law that was created to protect us from crime.if the higher court ever needed to step up and do the right thing now is that time.

A few years ago the Chief in Steele borrowed 20 pills from a so called friend until he got his in and then he paid the person back and he was arrested and went to jail in cape county on federal charges and went to court and had to go to prison, and do parole when he got out. He did not take anything from anyone and he went to prison and he should have because he broke the law.

Now you have the Chief in Caruthersville and one of his officers who worked on the drug task force, steal over $25,000.00 from a drug fund that was established to fight drugs and the money came from the city and thus from the taxpayers of Caruthersville and they stole that money.

If you check the state of Missouri the punishment for forgery is 1 to 7 years in the pen. Yet both these men get probation and have to pay back the money. No jail time! Our Prosecuting Attorney prosecuted them even if it was in another county how can he face the public after letting them off with only probation? I think he is an elected official and if he is it doesnt make him look very good in my eyes. Let your son or daughter or yourself end up in trouble for the same thing and see what happens to them or you.

Well, what can you say? I mean when you are friends with the Sheriff and Judges and one prosecuting them then what else should we all have expected? Justice for all. Right... LOL

He lost his job, but in addition, at the very least, he should be doing community service, and it shouldn't be expunged from his record. After 5 years he can run again for police chief. Are you kidding me!! Remember sheriff Clyde Orton. Withe the right connections you can get away with anything.

The parole board in Kennett,a female office, was informed of a man in our town borrowing pills from another. He paid them back when he got his. She said that it was not illegal. I do not belive her.(Pain pills) and he is a convicted felon. So don't we really have some law!!!! Her name was Kathy.
