Circumstances often cloud the law. If they were allowed to "file" without paying any back bills owed (taxes, water or fines) then the City broke the law by allowing the filing. As soon as both were lold of the delinquent water bills, both paid in a hurry. The problem is the City erred twice. The only fair solution is to put both them on the ballot If they were told after the filing deadline and both paid who has been hurt in this process? The candidates & the Voters.

These bills date from 2008 and Barbara Rodgers has run 3 times before and Frank at least once. Who is representing us?

If you got rid of Shaw part of the problem solved? I believe several tax payers are ready to see a change why do we need him in there 56000 bucks? Why pay him so much for screwing the department up. City council needs to be looking at this

Paul has more certifications that many in the state, but he has no managerial or business skills.
It's not all his fault. Diane has always had his back. She would not allow the delinquent bills to become public. When we finally got new auditors, they pressed the issue.$128,000 to be charged off. But Rodgers and Brandon bills were very small compared to the many RENTAL businesses that are on the list. How unfair is it not to pursue $128,000 but go after Angie? RULES are set, but never followed. It's unfair to charge off $1,000 for a friend of a council member or $800 for the mayor's friend, but it happens. It's just who you are.

The list is available for a written request and modest fee from the clerk.

The council needs to do what is best for the city not what's best for Shaw. You are right he can not manage in his position this is a must. Everyone needs to work don't get me wrong Shaw is not the person for this job. From what I understand the city as 2 supervisors for 4 employees? Why do u need a manager making over 50000 for doing what? Not supervising that's for sure.
