Who knows why Greg Moss is sucking on sour grapes these days? Here is what I heard: Greg was acting head basketball coach at the high school. The board decided to cut Stan Ray loose but they hired another man to serve as head coach moving Greg back to Ass't coach. Is this true? If so, way to go CHS, you hired someone with merit forgoing the "good ol' boy" system. Now, do something about that stupid principal!!!:)

The reason they had to move Greg was because he didn't have a certain class that would make him eligible to be head coach. He has a Bachelor's in Phys. Ed. but needed a certain class. He's still helping coach, they came to him and I tell you what, he's doing a GREAT job!!!!

How does he coach and work at Nucor at the same time? That sounds next to impossible to do. Who is the new coach, anyway?

Nucor's slow right now & they are working with him, he couldn't make all the games anyway, Lamont Bell is the new coach.

Back in the day Greg Moss was a great athelete for Caruthersville High School. He has coached in our Rec Center league for all sports and done a good job. Ask any child who has played under him. I think it's great Greg is helping our High School like this. He is not being paid and the team has improved over the last few weeks.

I have been going to the CHS basketball games for a few years now. Greg Moss has coached more in the past few games than any coach I have seen in the past two - three years. Thank you Greg for stepping up and taking this "NO GLORY" job and helping our our team. It really shows your character and I know the guys appreciate it very much as well as the fans.

That has nothing to do with it!! Greg goes to practically every game and the school came to him, he didn't ask to do it!!

If you are going to coach and be a role model, then maybe you should cut down on the vices. That's one reason the school is in the position it is now. The hiring record at this place is reprehensible. The last two coaches are currently suspended without pay, but at least BB won when he was here.

No true, Greg went to a board member and inquired about the job. The board member recommended Greg while others wanted some guy named Kevin. The board member pitched such a fuss, Greg became the assistant coach, right Peanut? It is not what you know, it is who you know. By the way, the team is destined to do go anyway, the 9th and 10th graders are the teams that had huge success over in the middle school. It is safe to say, their sussess is inspite of Greg Moss not because of him.

No, I am tired of people who are under-qualified getting jobs because of who they know. That's all.

Just to let you posters know: If your going to post something on here under a name that's not yours, so that people don't know who you are-don't go to another site and post your name. I know who someone is....lol. That was cute what you posted on the other site, about the b-day!
