Does anyone know who purchased the newly built home on Cedar Point Circle. I am assuming that is was a teacher or someone with connections. The reason I say that is because The Pride of the Upper Cumberland band truck, has been at the house for a couple of weeks. I wonder if anyone who is planning on moving could borrow the band truck? I just wonder if we taxpayers paid for the fuel for the truck.

oh good Lord! Could you be a bigger hater? Seriously your post is practically dripping with envy. What measley taxes you personally pay didnt buy the gas. Maybe you COULD borrow the truck, did you ask?? Im sure if you try real hard you can find something better to worry about.

For those of you so concerned with your tax dollars. Tax money is not used to put gas in the band bus, football money is. However, Coach Gentry fills up the band bus with personal money if it is to be used for personal reasons. For those of you who would like to borrow it. It has yellow carpet inside, smells like mold, and leaks water. It could only be used for smelly football things. ENJOY!!

You people can get snippy and call people names if you want to, but school property shouldn't be used for personal use, no matter how smelly or leaky it is.

Totally agree, no matter who buys the fuel, county property shouldn't be used for personal use. They should rent their own moving van like the rest of us tax payers would have to do. Tax dollars pay their salary, it shouldn't move them into their shiny new house too.

If a teacher has to go to the bathroom. Could he or she use it at school. I would hate to see a teacher use a toilet that was payed for by the tax payers. You people are ridiculous!

I would say the teacher in question pays taxes just the same as everyone. I would also argue that he is at least as vested and probably considerably more vested in this particular truck. As far as I'm concerned, he could drive it to Alaska to pick up a custom made Eskimo coffee table. I pay taxes, too.

Amen to that! To whom ever the sad person that started this thread, they should really get a life. I am glad my life isn't that pathetic as that person that I would have to wonder who is driving what vehicle! Who cares! I am quite sure that he didn't just drive off into the night with it.

The "hole" family???? Yep, that sure is fancy! This thread is ridiculous. You act almost as if the library was used for a toga party. Get over yourself.

I am not sure that taxes have much to do with this vehicle. Sanderson Funeral Home donated this vehicle to the high school band and was maintained by the Band Boosters. It was transferred to the football program app. 7 years ago when a newer vehicle was purchased by the Band Boosters to replace this one. It is probably being maintained by the Quarterback Club. With all the extra time that our coaches and others spend (with not much additional pay), the Quarterback Club probably did not mind.
