No they have not, please get all of the facts before you go spreading rumors. Remember we live in a society that we are innocent until proven guilty.

Do you have any idea how much the tax laws have changed over the past few years. They are good people please give them the benefit of the doubt until all the facts come out. Were you not the person who just invited me to your church? Is this how a Christian is supposed to judge another person?

They're crooks !
I bought a brand new Frigidaire heavy duty washer for them, paid almost $500. First it was the clutch, the the water pump. Then a roller. They had to come fix it several times. Finally I got fed up. Called the manufacturer. I was told that the machine I bought,( they ran the serial numbers) was a factory second! It actually had been rejected at the factory! THEY HAD REFURBISHED IT AND SOLD IT AS NEW !
Now I don't know how they got a reject, from a factory, but something stinks at McCalls.
It just finally died altogether before it was 2 years old !
I will never ever set my foot in another McCalls, in my life ! I also advise my friends to avoid them.

and of course they fully supported both Mae Beavers and Terri Lynn Weaver with this ill gotten gain!!! anything to get the job done right McCalls?? don't you wonder how long they planned on selling guns before they became more involved in politics on the local level? TLW worked in their store when she ran the first time and she could barely bring herself to speak to me, no one ever came to my door to campaign for her either ..hmmmm

I too have worked at MCcalls (yrs ago) and I personally will avoid doing business with them for my own reasons. I also know Mrs Weaver and she works and always has time to talk to me. GO TERI GO I'm proud a everyday person like her represents me.

We bought about 10,000 worth of furniture from them when we first got married, it ALL broke within a couple years...we just assumed our children were rough on things. So, without thought we turned around and bought 13,000 in furniture and appliances. Lesson learned. The bearings all fell out of our rocker recliner, my bed frame fell completely apart, and the legs of our table/chairs (the ones that are left) are less than stable. But the worst was when our stove that we had for 2 1/2 years cost about 500, it stopped working and were told our options were 1)spend 350+ to fix it, 2)buy another one, or 3)pay 80 for the 5 minute service call. Now that it's time to refurnish, no way we'll go back there....does anyone have a suggestion of a place that will sell quality furniture?

i too bought a washer and dryer that i am still paying on. Only had it a year and the dryer already tore up thank god i paid an extra hundred dollars for a five year warranty. I also bought my mom and dad a mattress that costs like 600. It supposedly had a five year warranty. After only a year the damn thing has a sunk in in the middle and is worse than the one they threw away. When i called them, they said that they sold me a floor model and it only had a one year warranty that ran out 3 days ago, How the hell is it a floor model when we went to their warehouse to get it. Facts don't lie all you people taking up for these jerks read all the crap they have sold people.

I built a new home five years ago and most of the furnishings came from D.T. McCalls. After five years there have been no problems with anything EXCEPT, the riding lawn mower that I bought at the same time. It recently had a pulley problem and I had to take it in. They fixed it at NO CHARGE. We should be proud to have a business in Carthage that has survived for so long.

So what ?
I'm on here..YOUR on here.
Let Buster, rant if she wants

If haters like you, wouldn't make such snide comments on her. She wouldn't have so much to bitch about now would she?
She has made some pretty intelligent comments on several subjects. Then you haters who disagree, or just like to start crap, start picking on her. Can't blame her for defending herself.

Get over it you jackass.

And all to the other "haters", on this forum

Grow the hell up, and lets have ADULT, intelligent, discussions, about the issues that concern our town. Not all this childish bickering and name calling..
Geeze.
