This diet is not for me. I was getting so sick from all the meat/protein. I tried to tell them and they felt I was a whiner, I guess. I could not go on. Now after a visit to the emergency room, have a test scheduled for narrowed small intestine area, possible scar tissue problems. Soft foods only. Now I am paying for a program I only really followed for a week. Expensive @ nearly $400.00.
Please make sure you can do this before you sign up.

Wait! You are blaming your problem on the diet plan after you were on it a week? LOL!
I agree with confused.. I think you just want to blame it on the diet plan to take the blame off of yourself..
Maybe you have the hand-to-mouth disease?

Some diets or life style changing eating habits can make you very sick. I did a 21 Day cleanse not long ago and the third day I thought I was going to die I was hurting so bad but I had studied up on these diets enough to know they weren't easy and I would have to hang on. If I had not know what to expect and this had happened I would of been at the hospital (maybe even Cartersville Medical I was hurting so bad, lol) Always research a diet before starting it because it is a life style change and your body needs time to adjust to right choices or different diet.
Remember some diets and cleansings are very dangerous and can make you very sick. If you've never walked in those shoes you won't really know. There is always Weight Watchers it's a eating change and super easy and not as much restriction on foods.

Elaine, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I completed the program through my work place. My results were as follows: I lost 77 pounds in 12 weeks: down to 279. My blood sugar and cholesterol have normalized as well. My acid reflux gone as well. Also, this is not a "hi meat" program. Are you doing thrive weightloss? And 1 week on a program full of complex carbs, bread, lean meat, etc will not cause the problems you claim. I paid 195 for the program at work. Where are you getting your information??

I'm very sorry for your experience Elaine. If you will email me the foods you like I will be glad to customize a program based on the healthy foods that you are already eating, just avoiding the foods that are unhealthy for you. My staff is very empathetic, and I doubt seriously that they told you to stop whining. If you told the staff that you didn't like meat, then they may have explained to you that protein is an essential nutrient and your body requires this macro nutrient. However, you can get ample amounts of protein from various sources other than meat. What is your Why? Elaine? Why did you begin and quit so quickly. Complete the program and I guarantee your results, remember? We also state that it takes 3-4 weeks to even begin learning the material. It is not a diet, but a lifestyle, a way of thinking if you will. Elaine, if you want help, I will help you. We have classes at Emory, Cartersville Medical, Floyd, Redmond, Gordon, and Fannin hospitals because of the efficacy of the program. Again, I'm sorry for your experience and hope that I hear from you. I would love to see you through the program. By the way, tell the Your doctor to cross off the foods he doesn't want you to have and let's focus on all of the foods you can have. Oh, and if you don't want meat it's not a problem :-)

Thrive is a great program. My wife did the program and I just eat like she does.
I have lost over 40 lbs and my doctor has taken me off 4 meds:
My Blood Pressure Med.
My Acid Reflux Med.
My Cholesterol Med.
My Inflamatory Med.
and cut my Diabeties Med in 1/2. Thinks my Diabeties is gone.

I haven't tried Thrive but I have changed my eating habits and health by a cleansing program with Standard Processing through a doctor. I am now off acid reflux meds, sleeping meds, all kinds of depression meds, I am totally med free! It wasn't easy at first but I stuck with it and now that I am done with the program it is easy to keep eating right and of course I do feel much better! No I didn't have any real weight loss but that wasn't my goal, I wanted control of myself,my life, my body and it has worked!

Gambler keep at it and anybody else, don't give up get healthy, it's hard at first but keep trying, it is worth it.

There is NO WAY this diet caused a "narrowed small intestine" in ONE week! You are a whiner. And $400 isn't expensive....you learn how to be healthy and keep weight off for the rest of your life, so how can that be expensive?

I am 17 turning 18 and I used to weigh over 220 lbs. Since starting Thrive I have lost 31 lbs and I feel so much better about myself. I refuse to believe that anything so negative or harmful could come from this program. Travis has done so much work and figured everything out for us. All we do is eat the right combinations of foods. I am glad that I was able to learn about this program now so that I can keep thriving for life and feed my future family right. Thank you Thrive! and THANK YOU Travis!!!!!!!!!!

I to am a Thriver for life! I recommend Thrive to anyone wanting to lose 5 pounds or anyone wanting to lose 100 lbs. It can be done! This NOT a short term diet, this is a way of life. This plan gives you the knowledge to make the best nutritional decisions. This is a healthy nutrition at its best- lean proteins, complex carbs, lots of green veggies- the stuff your body needs. The best fuel for you body. In the first 7 weeks I lost a little more than the 10% of my body weight at that time and i had a few blow it days in there. If you follow the plan that's what they practically guarantee. Losing that weight and feeling energetic gave me the energy to start running. I have recently completed my first half marathon an plan to do another one later this year. Losing the weight, having energy, feeling more confident I was able to do this. I have since lost about 20% of my total body weight from when I started and I have about 10 lbs more to go. It's not easy- you have to know your "why" and stay focused on your long term goal. Get back on the horse if you fall off! My husband and children eat the same things I do. They are not trying to lose weight but I want them to be healthy and like the foods that are the best for them. Travis and Michele C. have changed my life for the better. Any questions I had or problems- they were there. I recommend Thrive to everyone who asks me about it!

I was very skeptical when I first started to read about the Thrive Program. I am basically a Carb junky, but, I am amazed. I am on week 6, have lost 21.6lbs and can't believe that I have been able to follow through. I don't have the cravings I normally would, Acid Reflux has diminished drastically, I feel better physically and mentally. We have not been re-measured yet, but, I feel I have not only lost pounds, but inches. I have never had weight loss quite like this. I also tried the Protein Meal Replacement Bars and they are a life saver, I can't wait to have one for Breakfast. I am so pleased and thankful for this program, and pray every day that I will continue to follow through. I have been overweight my entire life and I just want to be through with the diets and dissapointments. Thank you to "Thrive Weight Loss" for coming to my area !!
