After reading this thread I have wondered if the texts could be fabricated. The recording stands on its own merit but anyone could fabricate the texts by simply changing the contact name on an existing text conversation to whomever it is that they want to make look bad then take a snapshot of the screen. This is especially easy to do on an iPhone.

Since there has been no public admission of guilt, it might serve us all well just to remain calm until something "legitimate" or something official is provided to show that the texts are from whom they appear to be from. If you don't believe it is easy to do what I mentioned, try it on your own phone.

Remember folks, it is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Well Mrs. Cornett has seen the posted text messages and believe me, if there was one word fabricated in them, she would have been screaming at the top of her lungs about it at the last meeting. Instead, she did not utter one words about the wording of the texts.

If those texts came from you and they were all true, you would not comment on them at all. If they were fabricated you would be yelling and screaming about them being false. Her silence says volumns.

I work in communications closely with a provider you can obtain these records
Without court order if they are yours or
Your company's .plus you can't time
Stamp if they're not genuine .
You must work for a provider that is willing to break federal law. It's all protected so anyone and everyone can't just ask arbitrarily for someone's personal information. Go ahead, ask our provider to give you your own text messages and they will tell you to provide a subpoena.

If we had any doubt about the text messages, ACornette removed them by her actions at the last board meeting. She was fired up because she had been found out. Her true colors shining through. She certainly can't deny the phone conversation with a teacher either. She needs to go and fry something.

I have done business with Kittle, however, I have never met anyone more passionate about our children than Ms. Wanda Gray!

Passion doesn't always translate into common sense and reasoned decision making.

Wanda Gray voted to spend taxpayer dollars on the Grizzle personal civil rights lawsuit to protect nepotism and promised to pay it back with her salary if they lost.

They lost. Did she give back any money? After all, she's the only board member left that voted in favor if the lawsuit.

She did pay it back. I think. Ask
From what I heard she did. Plus donated to other organizations.

Even if she donated all of her salary from the past 2 years at $100 a month, that only equals $2000 or less when you take out taxes. The lawsuit cost taxpayers around $30,000.

It doesn't matter if she "donated to other organizations." The fact is, she voted for and vigorously defended the "right" of board members to engage in nepotism with $30,000 of taxpayer money all while teachers and support staff were getting furlough days and pay cuts.

She is also very hypocritical about Cornett's micromanagement of staff. It's all over the county that she had a list of administrators to fire in the summer of 2010 just because she disagrees with the way these people are choosing to educate their children. If that isn't personal rather than job related, I don't know what is. You can't tell me that all the people on that list had bad performance reviews.

On top of that, while she may be right about some of this stuff she has brought out, her methods have been destructive to the community as a whole. It's time for a voice of reason and an adult to take over.

All the more reason to show up Monday and express how you feel about the board as a whole! I agree vote them all out, clean the slate. We know from the text and recorded phone conversation Angie needs to go, that would be a great start. Work our way through the rest. No one in this County should be happy about what's going on and we need to stand up and change it! Educators have been wronged by a power hungry court reporter that feels the staff of Cass high are f>king idiots that she wants to hurt! That Harper, Nelson & Howard are Pu-sy, and we are just the crazy public. Who does she think she is to talk to everyone that way? This board board may run Harper like a puppet, it's time the board finds out who they work for" THE CRAZY PUBLIC"
SEE YOU CRAZIES MONDAY.

Here is Gray pledging her salary:

and here's another clip of her defending the use of taxpayer dollars for Grizzle's personal lawsuit:

People should remember...despite all the noise she's making now, back then, she was very willing to defend nepotism by board members...and use your money to do it...

Because Grizzle had the best interests of the children at heart when he spent tax money so he could protect his right to hire family members as administrators, and Maier cared a lot about the kids when he pretended he didn't live outside of his district.

Face it, the school board has had a bunch of self-interested power hungry people on it for years.

I think they should fire every damn one of them on the board and start over. Nothing but a bunch of crooks, can't trust none of them. Starting with Dumbazz Nelson.

We need the board from the 90's back when they fired Nelson. Those folks saw what was going on and weren't afraid to do the right thing.
