Why is these pain clinics legal in Ga. This woman goes to one in Rome, they give her 180 pills a month 10 mg Loratab. She sells some of them and eats the rest. She and her daughter is cracked out for about 3 days, then she has no pills and goes to the ER in Cartersville for pain meds the rest of the month.

If you have legitimate health issues that require pain meds why don't you see a doc in Cartersville???

Hardtimes2 it sounds to me you are pill mill shopping,to get a legal one you half to be referred to by your family physician or doctor that nows your issues... I hate to put it like that but you would not be driving across the world to get your high if you really needed it for pain... I go some were that legal and I have pain issues that was detected by MRI and sent they by from family physician... No I'm not giving doctors name and he does not see out of state people....

Amazing how the majority of pain clinic shoppers are from Kentucky. When they raided that one behind Ryans the major of cars in the parking lot were from Kentucky.

Can't find any oxycontin up there in Kentucky, HARDTIMES? Or did they just cut off your supply?

Get help and kick the addiction.

If you are truly looking for a legitimate pain management clinic, Pain Solutions Treatment Center is a legitimate source for help. They have offices in Cartersville and Marietta. You'll need a referral from you primary care Dr. They don't just hand out meds. If you need something to cope you may get a prescription depending on your condition. They offer a variety of options such as epidural injections and, which was a huge help for me, a radio frequency neurotomy. They insert hollow catheters near your spinal column and insert a rf probe to burn the nerves that are troubling you. If you are put on a narcotic pain med to subsidize the procedures and physical therapy, you WILL be randomly drug tested. They have made the last 6 or 7 years of my life tolerable. Not the place if you're looking for a pill mill as these people actually help and will dismiss you from the practice you give them any reason to suspect you are there with alterior motives. You get meds from another dr while under their care, they WILL find out.

With the new laws that were passed trying to STOP the pill mills, a regular Dr can not prescribe pain killers/narcotics for long term needs. 60days is the max they can now prescribe. So they will refer you to a Pain management Dr to go from there.
These Drs do drug tests before every visit as well, to keep everything legit!!
Makes it harder and more expensive for those who need actual pain management...but beats people killing themselves or others with pain killers!!
