Chill I think you are this lady..under a different name..lol..
I guess I just get tired of everyone thinking because they like to cook they can open a restaurant. Kind of passionate about it, I guess...plus I really don't want anyone else to go through what we did.
It's not a matter of wanting to be right. I am right. She can fulfill her dream..hey..that's her choice..but she will learn the hard way.
You can't look at opening a business as fulfilling your passion. You have to look at it as a business. And a business is supposed to make money. I'm telling you this type of place is extemely high risk..especially in Euharlee..or even Bartow County. She needs to look at something with little risk and a high success rate considering her age and the fact this is retirement money.

Your business failed so you are going to make damn sure nobody else tries it. You seem obsessed with stopping her. That is strange. So far you've posted about 55 pages of why your business failed, yet not one single word about customer service.

You did the best thing for everybody, you got out of the business.

You seem obsessed with trying to find some reason we closed that fits your frame of reference and you presume a lot of things. Who says we're out?..I said we didn't have a business in Bartow County....I said we adapted...my point is there is more to running a restaurant than stringing beans on your porch and knowing a few Martha Stewart recipes. But hey, go ahead, lose your money, learn the hard way.

No lies at all...just the cold hard facts. I don't know how you can say actual articles from business victims are lies. This is what can happen and does happen. And if you want homestyle, there's plenty around although I would say the food isn't great. But it's cheap and truly that's what the folks around here want.

I'm not saying no one should open a restaurant. I am just saying you better go in with your eyes wide open and, unfortunately this lady, like so many others doesn't have enough knowledge or resources to make it work at this time. I don't want to see her waste her retirement money and have regrets.
Cheap or expensive homestyle food that is not good. I don't think that people around here want to pay any price for bad food! Good food, nice atmosphere, reasonable prices are a must. I can also attest to getting good food from what we used to call "a hole in the wall". Like Papa John says, "Good ingredients, good food". Please don't give any more example of restaurants failing unless you plan to talk about your family's business. Too much unnecessary informations about other businesses. Let litigation handle it.

Your statements are just plain stupid! Look at Martha Stewart now and you really should see who's the one laughing...I'm sure she's laughing all the way to the bank! Don't underestimate!

I love Martha! Guess what, I didn't just fall off a turnip truck and it's my money and I'll use it my way! Like I said earlier, talk about your own business. Our assuming is based only what you said. Be specific. Maybe we can help you. You assume that I am relying on book knowledge. You don't know where my expertise lies. You don't know what my plans are prior to opening a business. Well let me tell you. A business plan with all the works with a cherry on top. I bet you thought I was going to tell you a business secret. Lol

Cartersville Girl is right, stop giving examples of other people's business. You are going either by what someone told you on your cell phone or what you found on the internet. You are not angry because someone else lost their business, you are angry because you lost YOUR business.

Either talk about your business or shut up.

And if you touch my string beans on my porch, I'll shoot you between the tits with a pellet gun.

You can still have that home-cooked cheesy goodness of all those food you mentioned. Just cook! One trick is buying a main ingredient and work around it. For example, but one kind of cheese. You can buy your cheese from http://www.idealcheese.com and you can experiment around it. Make food from scratch using cheese.
