Lying Republican Senator is willing to lie to appease his big-oil contributors. Scott Brown Denies That Man-Made Climate Change Is Scientifically Proven, after admitting it is real.
New Hampshire Senate candidate Scott Brown has added his name to the list of Republicans who have dismissed the science behind climate change, despite previously stating that global warming is real.
During a GOP primary debate on Saturday, Brown was asked if he believed that "the theory of man-made climate change has been scientifically proven." The former Massachusetts senator, who hopes to challenge Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), responded, "Uh, no."
Watch Brown's answer in the video above.
Brown's response, posted in a video Monday by the Democratic opposition research firm American Bridge, is at odds with the position he held while defending his seat in the 2012 Massachusetts Senate race. Back then, Brown said he did believe in climate change during a debate with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the Democrat who eventually defeated him.
"Yes, yes I do," he said. "I absolutely believe that climate change is real and I believe there's a combination between man-made and natural."
When asked for comment Monday, Brown's campaign offered a response that more closely resembled his remarks in 2012.
"Scott Brown believes that the climate is changing by a combination of natural and manmade causes," Elizabeth Guyton, a spokeswoman for the campaign, told The Huffington Post. "The real issue is whether we are going to impose a new national energy tax on carbon. Scott Brown says no and Jeanne Shaheen says yes."
Though Brown is expected to win the primary on Sept. 9, he has adopted a more conservative stance on some issues to garner support from the right. He has recently pounded Shaheen's record on immigration, despite voting, while serving as a state senator in Massachusetts, for one of the same reforms he criticized her for backing.
Shaheen hit Brown for his comments on climate change, calling them "disappointing" and an effort to "appease the Big Oil special interests who fund his campaigns."
There's your Republican candidates for you! Not acting in what they KNOW are the best interests of the American people in order to appease big-oil and big-coal.

"JOB CREATORS AT WORK"
Democrats Want Scott Brown To Resign From A Company That Outsources Jobs
WASHINGTON -- The re-election campaign of Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) and a trio of labor groups are calling on GOP Senate candidate Scott Brown to resign from a company that outsourced U.S. jobs.
Shaheen said Monday that she supports a letter signed by the New Hampshire chapters of three Democratic-leaning labor groups: SEIU Local 1984, the AFL-CIO and the Teamsters, seeking Brown's resignation from the board of directors of Kadant, Inc. The move is the latest effort by Democrats in the Granite State to highlight Brown's role at the Massachusetts-based company, which has outsourced jobs to China and Mexico to capitalize on cheap labor, according to a recent report in the Nashua Telegraph.
The paper reported last week that Brown has earned $270,000 from Kadant, an equipment supplier for the pulp and paper industry, since joining the company in February 2013. Kadant has 14 manufacturing facilities total, four of which are based in the United States. The rest of the its manufacturing operations are located in countries that include China, Mexico, Brazil, France, the Netherlands and Sweden.
"Scott Brown has to answer to the people of New Hampshire who deserve to know why he was collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars from a company that shipped American jobs overseas and that relies on low-cost manufacturing bases in China and Mexico," Mike Vlacich, Shaheen's campaign manager, said Monday. "New Hampshire canít afford a U.S. Senator like Scott Brown who cares more about lining his own pockets -- even if it means taking jobs from U.S. workers.
That's Republicans for you. Destroying our country.

Republican party officially named as the political-wing of the oil and gas industry.
An already politically active industry ramped up its presence in campaign finance even further in 2012 as presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney debated climate change and potential curbs on carbon emissions. Companies with interests in oil and gas contributed more than $70 million to federal candidates in the 2012 cycle, more than double the total from 2010.
Political donations from the industry - which includes gas producers and refiners, natural gas pipeline companies, gasoline stations, and fuel oil dealers - have taken on an increasingly conservative tint over the past two decades. In the 2012 cycle, 90 percent of its contributions went to the GOP.

"In this accessible and beautifully produced full colour book The Age's brilliant political cartoonist John Spooner and leading environmental scientist Professor Bob Carter combine with colleagues to answer a series of critical and highly controversial questions about the politics and science of climate change.
Are human industrial carbon dioxide emissions causing dangerous global warming?
If it is so then climate change surely is one of the great moral challenges of our time.
But is it possible that the so-called consensus science around global warming produced by lavishly funded research institutes and with its own international political lobby organization - the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)- is wrong?
Could it be that the emperor has no clothes?
Accessible, clearly written and illustrated with simple scientific illustrations, and accompanied by Spooner's brilliantly wry and telling cartoons, Taxing Air answers - without the spin, evasions or propaganda that pollutes most official writing on climate change - every question you have about global warming but have been too intimidated by the oppressive 'consensus' to ask."

Thumb of gubmint..........
"A few years back, we were going to be killed by global cooling, overpopulation, pesticide residues, West Nile virus, bird flu, Y2K, cellphone radiation, mad cow disease, etc. Now itís global warming.
The recent hype about global warming comes from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Most of its members are serious scientists. But reporters donít realize that those scientists, like bird flu specialists, have every incentive to hype the risk. If their computer models (which so far have been wrong) predict disaster, they get attention and money. If they say,ďIím not sure,Ē they get nothing.
Also, the IPCC is not just a panel of scientists. Itís an intergovernmental panel. Itís a bureaucracy controlled by the sort of people who once ran for student council and are ďexhilarated by the prospect of putting the thumb of the federal government on the scale.Ē"

It's a beautiful day in America,

Well, spend the day destroying America.
What else is there to do,
it is what we live for, to destroy the America that you have come to know and love, that America that exists only in your memories and fantasies as portrayed in those re-runs on TVLand, yep that's the REAL America, the America that you cherish, adore, and worship.
But wait, we dedicated liberal progressive dirty red commie socialist pinkos are truly LIARS, that can't be believed, what oh what is a right wing loon to do, what is there left to believe in, the America of our dreams is gone and forgotten, replaced by something unmentionable, but we just know it's not RIGHT.
Take back America, even though THAT America never existed.

Eight most common fallacies of climate change..........
1 - Scientists have accurate historical temperature data..........
2 - Temperature trends are meaningful and can be extrapolated..........
3 - The accuracy of climate models can be determined from their output......
4 - The consensus among scientists is decisive (or even important)......
5 - The dominance of scientific papers on a certain subject establishes a truth.....
6 - Peer-reviewed papers are true and accurate..........
7 - The IPCC is a reliable authority and its reports are both correct and widely endorsed by all scientists......
8 - It has been proven that human emissions of carbon dioxide have caused global warming......

"Hereís one of the great stories of the past 25 years, entirely ignored by the dying legacy media: the UNís Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)-the bureaucratic authority that gave us global warming-is taking it all back. The new IPCC report concedes that its former prognostications were incorrect. Not only were their statistical models wrong, but IPCC scientists now ďaccept their forecast computers may have exaggerated the effect of increased carbon emissions on world temperatures-and not taken enough notice of natural variability.Ē
Six years ago, Al ďInternetĒ Gore-who has made millions on global warming hysteria-said the North Pole could be ďice-free by 2013.Ē Well, itís 2013Ö and the Arctic has grown by 60 percent. Thatís more than half the size of Europe."

A political cartoonist is your idea of a reliable source on climate change. I just wish I was surprised, I really do. But this is exactly what we get from folks like you.

And another hyperbolic rant from the Left. I don't know any conservatives who argue against the government filling those roles it was INTENDED to, things like providing for national defense; protecting citizens' constitutional rights; establishing federal courts, the postal service, and raising revenue to perform the ESSENTIAL functions laid out in the Constitution. And flowing from those functions is the environment that allows citizens to "pursue happiness". Meaning they can work to educate themselves, get a job, maybe create a business and employ others, etc. But it is NOT the government that comes up with the ideas and takes the risks and maybe stumbles and falls and maybe/maybe not rises again to TRY again and MAYBE this time succeed. The government CREATES NOTHING on its own. But it is the INDIVIDUAL that is the strength of this country - NOT THE GOVERNMENT.
Just like Obama, you see the Constitution as a "charter of negative liberties", only seeing it as something that "says what the states can't do to you" and "what the federal government can't do to you" and you refuse to see that that view is turning the Constitution's intent on its head. The point of the Constitution is to protect the rights of the INDIVIDUAL, not the government.
United States Government - perform those functions you were intended to do -"establish Justice, ensure Domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare" and then get out of the way and let the American entrepreneurial spirit loose. That is what made this country the powerhouse it has been - NOT the government trying to micromanage our lives and insert itself into every aspect of our lives. And consequently demanding higher and higher taxes to perform functions it was NEVER intended to perform in the first place.

And I note that your "cut and paste" does nothing to counter the FACTS of what I stated and actually support what I stated - again.
"Have 352 bills passed the House but await action in the Senate?
"the 733 measures that have passed the House so far this year. "
"What remained were 342 individual bills."
