Petersburg father charged with scalding infant in bathtub

A Petersburg father has been charged with severely injuring his 4-month-old daughter, who was scalded over the weekend during a bath.

Very unfortunate. Lucky, the injury to the baby was not life threatening. This could be a good time for people to check the temperature on their water heaters; especially those with young children. Babies' skin is much more susceptible to this type of injury.

This is so horribly disgusting to hear about. What kind of an idioit father is he anyway. Who doesnt check the temp of bath water before putting yourself in it much less a baby. OR did he do it on purpose. We need to pray for that baby girl, and her stupid father.

Very sad. I look at a young father trying to take care of his daughter. There was a country singer who did the same thing to their child. It was an accident. Burns always get worse before they get better and if the father was young and obviously a new parent it sounds like he might not have know the extent of her injuries.
