Amazing how many idiot drivers do not realize that pedestrians have the right-of-way at intersections, whether or not there is a crosswalk marked.

Your response is cold. Automobile drivers should always be aware of their surroundings, and take extra precautions when approacting intersections. That could have been one of your family members or one of mine. I used to reside in Carson. Hopefully you will reconsider your response and ask God to forgive you.

How dare u say that the victim is the idiot for crossing in front of the vehicle! I seen the victim laying on the street minutes after he was struck and I felt extremely angry and sad at the same time. The image will never leave my mind.
In this case, The IDIOT is the driver who heartlessly let someone's loved one laying lifelessly on the street as if he was nothing.
If this IDIOT driver had any sense he/she would of stopped and at least called for police, but no!
Unfortunately, a family lost a loved one and the driver became a murderer for not doing the right thing.

My condolences to the Masaga family. May he rest in peace.

Yes, Fortunately I was a block away at Taco Bell waiting for my food when I heard a loud thump and seconds later as I looked onto Main St, a old model black Ford Mustang happened to pass by on the right hand lane, the same lane the victim was found and there it made a right onto 223rd street. As soon as I got home I notified the Sheriff's station and told them everything. I'm just happy to hear that as the investigators were looking for any evidence, they indeed found parts of the vehicle that belong to a Ford Mustang.

All I can say is...I was at the Right place at the Right time. If this helps the Masaga family in any way.. I know I did the right thing.

Hello Jessica.
First, My condolences to all of your family for Uncle Papa's loss.
There is no need to thank me. I did it because i know that i would of wanted someone to do the same for my family. I stopped by yesterday to leave flowers and to pray. You don't know how it has affected me too. After coming home on Saturday night and telling my husband,I would not stop crying every time i thought about it.
Please give your family a big hug from me and let them know that they are in my heart and prayers.

Now that illegals can drive without a license there will be more incidents like this. L.A. mayor villaragrosa FKS up once again. Why is it that the COP always backs this mayor when it involves illegals??????

Where shall I begin?... In the latest news reports wittnesses have described hit and run drivers as latino. After catching some of these drivers shortly after these types of accidents, they were latino. LAPAD and the mayor are working hand in hand to allow undocumented people to drive without an ounce of respossibility. Most of these undocumented people do not read or understand the english language or posted traffic rules and signs. Of course those who oppose this hand in hand idea will think it's totally racial like all other illegal acts like entering this country without documentation/visa. Is this how you feel? Please keep your reasons to allow this irresponssible behavior by our ellected officals from going there. IT'S THE LAW ... and nothing else.

suzeg ... one last question, if you were at the receiving end of an irresponsible driver without insurance and or drivers license, would you be forgiving? If I were your insuracnce carrier I would drop you, because you seem to be irrisponssible.
