What a racist remark, that paints all Filipinos with a stupid blind brush. Now, you may not be a racist
but that is a racist remark. Please cool it and keep this comment thread open for a while.

Well Done L.A. Sheriff's Sgt. Michael Rodriguez,
other LASD investigators & those FBI Agents who
have worked long and hard to bring this partial
closure for the Risken & Jackson Family, in Olympia.

It's been a long three years & DB Crime Reporter Larry Altman has never taken his nose from the grindstone, of this sad multiple murder case. Thank
you so much Mr. Altman for all the articles you have
done. Thanks too, for your part in interesting CBS "48 Hours" in the case.

I am happy that Sherry Jackson and Law Risken Sr. have expressed relief, at these recent arrests.

I would be happier still, if L.A. Prosecutors could
learn the location of Law "Larry" Risken Jr.'s ashes, from one of the two murder suspects now in
custody, for the murder of Sonia. That could be a
plea bargin that would not upset me.

Mr. Hensley......you better wake and smell the coffee. If Mr. Risten would of felt the same way as i do he would be alive today. Never, would i have married this gold digger, nor would i have gone to the Philippines without back-up.
When i served in the military i was duked from a Filippino taxi driver who surely was going to rob me til, i assured him he was going to lose. I made a friendly wager from a Filippino who i haven't seen or heard from yet! Played a pick-up basketball game in a Filippino neighborhood where you couldn't get in the game..........they were talking there own language and pencil whipping points so, you would get frustrated and leave. Oh Mr. Hensley, that's just a few!! No, never again, will i turn my back.

Mr. Altman,- Glad to hear you are not done on this case yet. I will follow this case until
final justice is had or taps is played over me.

I am 70, so do keep the case in the news, to help
Interpol and the FBI keep working it in the P.I.

This is the best news. I have watched the Risken/Jackson family be tormented from this sick family. It is time for Larry to be put to rest and let this family start to live again.

I'm thinking of you all and pray that the justice will continue. God bless you all.

Love,
Shannie

I have followed his story and watch it unwind slowly over the years. Very clear from the beginning this was entirely a family matter from beginning to end. To the reporters and those who worked on the case great work. I'm a bit surprised I must say that the DB reporter responded directly to this blog. Confirms my suspicions they are monitoring responses to there stories very closely.

But I must add it is cowardly for any reporter to pick and choose the stories to reply to. If responding is something a reporter does, then don't respond to the pats on the back only. This comment is made from a retired national award winning columnist.

To the racist remarks "yes they are very racist" People are people there are there is good and bad in every race. I dont have time for comparisons but we all know the truth.

As for the comment from Elito.. It is likely to be a fraud. I doubt very seriously this was from him. Suspiciously seems very obviously a plant from Jim's camp. The mispelling of the fast food resturant chain is something Elito would unlikely door make referenced to.

Delacruz is an idiot on many levels especially to be so naive to think the emails couldn't be traced back to him. Very few crooks lack the intelligence to remain unknown sooner or later their sloppiness and/or greed get them caught!

Give him and his shipmate a fair trial and then give them what they deserve. This is Justice.

Your article left out one very important point: What is the motive for Sonia's own relatives to kill her ? Now one of the Black Widow's victims relatives, I could understand. What did she do to these nephews to make them want to kill her off.

let's see maybe greed, she may not have paid them what they wanted for the other acts on the two husbands, and the hit was on? what do you think.

My goodness!

Would you look at this thread come alive, with arm
chair homicide investigators, journalism critics
& physological experts on Filipinos? Boy was I out
to lunch, thinking this thread was about dead!

I have had worse ideas, like when I thought that the LASD & FBI were not really working the cases
as hard as they shoud be. So, I will leave it to
the LE Experts, for the most part from now on.

I do decline the above offer to wake up and smell
the coffee, of distrust and malice towards all Filipinos. I will continue to share my coffee from the cup of friendship, with all people, alert
to missdeeds from individuals, not whole cultures.

By way of disclaimer, I do disclose that I have been happily married to a Filipina for 16 years
and love my job in retirement, as a house grandpa
and gofer, to two Filipino grandkids, now 10 & 8.

And so it is, in my opinion at least, that there are good people and bad people in all races & cultures. Morever, there are exceptionally good
people & a few downright EVIL people to be found
in all races within the human race.

I believe Larry was an exceptionally good man, HS
Special Ed Teacher and Naval Officer. I concur with the opinion of Larry's little Sister Sherry,
that; The late Sonia Rios Risken was pure EVIL!
