Bye bye Cain... In 85 + yrs. Thats how long it takes to execute in Ca. Really what is the point, just an extra $ 100,000 a year to house death row inmates, execute or commute to life without parole. Enough is enough, tax payers are starting to run dry.

Glad to see he was recommended for the death panelty. Now if you rediculous liberal state would actually use the death penalty on a more frequent basis, we could lower our prison costs a little!

Yes it was confusing. Note this is an example of what happens when reading and writing skills are taken away from language.

Well you should be aware in the old days you would only go to jail when you did bad things, these days to make up up a good head count, misdemeanors are also jail able offenses, soon staring at some one the wrong way will get a hefty sentence, or as in Hawaii, kicked off the bus because of B.O.

Time to clean up the judiciary instead of playing God over a dog.

I strongly disagree! Today, we are seeing more and more serious offenders being released early due to prison overcrowding. Some even get lighter and shorter sentences from the start because of plea agreements. IE, one scumbag turns in another scumbag in exchange for less prison time.

Your are absolutely correct!... but at least the jury came to the right conclusion. The rest is the fault of the state for not carrying out the sentence!

About time!! But this guy will take years to die in jail. If you're sentensnced to death, why don't the Corrections Department take them out and kill them. However... I mean, who cares about "humanly", just kill them. How humane were his cousins killed? How long did they suffer.I think those convicted of these crimes, should be put to death in a similar manner as their victems..

the process of the death penalty should be swift! Like Mahamoud the sniper - what it took about 5-7 years to get it done!

Is Cain the first or last name of the accused, is that all to his name, or have journalists gotten so lazy that they no longer proofread before putting anything in print?

Just curious.

If there ever was a dog who deserved to die,,,,it's this murdering indiviual who has no right to live amongst us no matter how dirty our judiciary might be!!! And, there are a whole lot more issues that need to be cleaned-up before they get to the judiciary. First things first, and that is getting rid of this dirt bag.

I hate the fact that he will remain on death row for about 50 years. We will all be paying for him to sit in a cell and be catered to. CA is so stupid, I wish he had done the crime in Texas, they don't play there.....

Now he just has to wait twenty years or longer to die.And live in a better cell then the rest of of the population at the prison.A single man cell better visits access to a phone. To bad they dont exacute them after sentencing.

Californians should pass an initiative which requires all death row appeals should be finished in under two years. We should create a system of Courts whose only job is to hear death row appeals and nothing else. This way the "bottleneck" of the appeals process would be broken, the Constitutional rights of the defendant would be guaranteed, and a sentence of Death would, again, become a genuine deterrent to would-be criminals in this state.

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Capricorn

With dark Pluto under pressure in your sign, this rather grave mood has been colored by the current state of a relationship. It isn't going as well as you would like, probably because you're feeling distanced. It's an inward-looking phase, full of obstructions, but best not to worry about things that might never happen, nor to stew about problems that are little more than ancient history. It's the festive season, so raise the cup of kindness and help those less fortunate than yourself.
