Thank goodness the voters never voted Rick Pulido into office. Can you imagine him running the city elections? Scary thought!

Finally, 1st step to JUSTICE --- this guy is the staunchest supporter and ally of JIM DEAR. He illegally rips up campaign signs of DEAR opponents. Now the hand of God id upon him- Dear is next.

That is why we are working on getting rid of the crooks. Every city has its problems. Yes, including Torrance. Some crooks just surface sooner than others but they all will sooner or later. Just stay tuned.

This sort of thing also happened with the Numer Uno markets owner. He was a crook and extorionist too. I just wonder if this is part of the way they do business in Mexico. I am proud of the good guys coming forward. Business is tough enough just doing the job and then you have to worry about gangsters using their strong arm. Bravo for them coming forward. I keep thinking what is wrong with our town. We keep believing in these politicians. When you run for office it is suppose to be to serve your community and the people. But, it seems all of our people in office have other agendas. Wake up Carson...

Them Carson cops are awesome. We can thank them for this justice. Greed and wrong doing will come back eventually. Mayer Jim Dear eats at Lupita's regularly and is also Good friends with the Gutierrez guys. Ill bet they were big contributors on his campaign. There is probably a connection via pulido.

You almost don't want people to know where you live. And there are times when you don't want them to know that you are a registered voter. Even if you didn't vote for the crooks in office we as residents of Carson have to live with the shame of all of these crooks. People think Birds of a Feather etc. etc. We should make an example of these creeps. Of course they are innocent until proven otherwise and I am surprised at Lupitas. They have been there for so long. Competition makes for a better deal for the public. I guess they were afraid of this competition. After this I doubt if anyone will want to be seen going there. Damn! It's a good thing Lupitas isn't in San Pedro. We have a Mexican restaurant every two blocks. They probably woud have had to do a lot worse to kill off the compettion in this town.

Don't ever worry what others may think of Carson. Unless they take care of you or pay your bills, who gives a rats ass what they think of our city.

Our city may not be perfect but neither is any other city. Every city has its issues - whether or not the public is aware of it is the real question.

The way I view all of the articles about Carson is that it's a blessing in disguise. Though the media coverage may show Carson in an unfavorable light, at least the public is aware of what's truly going on.

You should always worry about your reputation. Just like your word is your badge of honor, so too are the people you associate yourself with. Unfavorable light?? I have lived in the city of Carson since 1965 and we have had nothing but mud in our government pot. Some were slinging it, some were hit with it. I am so tired of all of our political leaders being on the shady side of that stick. What is it? Greed? Power? I say bring back Jake Egan and clean up this town. At least when he was in office all of the parks and the kids had lights to play on the fields and uniforms even for the kids that had no money to contribute to the pot. Jake made sure every kid had gloves shoes and whatever they needed. BRING BACK JAKE AND CLEAN UP CARSON....

What! Jake Eagan was a corrupt city councilman who was forced to quit. I have lived here for a long time and remember that as a FACT!

You want another crook to come back and clean up Carson? WOW! Might as well bring back Sweeney, Fajardo, Ontal, etc, while you are at it! Some Badge of honor. Get your facts straight!!!

They will "ALL" fit right in with Rick Pulido!!!

No my riend if you really knew the facts you would be scared out of Carson. We need a good man like Jake. Do you ever I mean ever question authority? I am sorry for all who live in Carson and don't know the insider facts. Questioning authority makes for good strong government. Don't believe a word they say if their lips are moving...they are lying.

Are you saying that Eagan was not removed from office because of corruption. If so, your are WRONG. Do your home work!

btw, I am not saying we do not have serious problems but you apparently have forgotten what Jake Eagan did to be removed from politics. He too is a stench and an embarassment to our already severely tarnished community!

The problems in Carson are due to the fact that so many of the politicians and businessmen are from third-world countries where bribery and extortion are the norm. Remember the trash hauling contract scandal? That's how contracts are won back in the homelands. Try it here in the Good Old USA and you get arrested, disgraced, or both. Being a defense attorney in Carson has got to be the best gig in town. Wish I'd gone to law school!

We are only working on getting every crook into our city hall. I have lived in Carson since before they were a city and I will tell you it seems that every single year we get someone else into office we have another crook on our hands. Where did all of the good guys go? I suppose they start out good but all of the graft is just too good to turn down. I had my 15 minutes working hard with this city way back when and know how crooked even the appearing good ones are. I personally sold over $10,000 worth of $1.25 tickets for a Queen contest and guess what our representative lost by $1.25.
