Politics !!!!! I don't think this woman has a chance, even with all of her money. There just seems like there would be another way for her to get her way..lol I like an underdog and will still lick envelopes for her if needed

Vote Bird and Goodhart to preserve PVE's unique character. Vote Iannitti to turn it into Sodom and Gomorrah. She has no clue what "classy" and "manners" are. Just watch her around her friends and kids. Pushy, rude and whiney.

I'm torn between the criminal defense lawyer and the hottie. We need more criminal defense lawyers in local government, those who defend criminals. The hottie will shake things up, and all cities need that. I want to know where Goodhart stands on the mega-mansion debate. Hold tha cannolis until I get an answer.

Bird all the way! Very good man! He would be a true asset to PVE Council.

I remember the story regarding the lawsuit over decoration and just thought Ianetti was some shallow brat that wanted to throw her money around. When the rich just want more and when what they already have just doesn't make themselves happy anymore so they throw their efforts towards politics because winning a local election would validify what they think their neighbors think about them. Now that I see her picture, she's a pretty hot shallow brat. How do I get an invite to one of their parties?

I dont know wether to love this girl or hate her. On one hand I think she believes the law does not apply to her. On the other hand, I love the thought of a HS dropout ex stripper from Reno on the council.
I voted for her

I'd vote for Iannitti if she can get rid of some undeserving people in the PVE Art Jury. Some of them really have no clue on design and still insist that their personal view is better.

Her expensive campaign shows that she is not smart with her money, as the literature is extremely wasteful as well as uninformative. She could have accomplished more with less.
I can't vote for someone who is wasteful with her own money and expect her to be careful with the taxpayer's money.

And by the way, where does she stand on development?
Heck, where does she stand on anything other than letting her have her Halloween decorations?

I have the feeling she was happy with her local government until they told her "no."
Personally I like it that they told her "no." Her decorations should not have been on public property.

Again, she has shown poor use of public property once, why on earth would I trust her with a council seat and put in her a decision making position for all of the public property for the city of Palos Verdes Estates?

I think a stripper would be a great addition to city council. Just think of all the fun. Here's a few suggestions. We can re-name city council chambers and call it the "V.I.P. Room" where the mayor and his homies can get a legit lap dance. If you want to bring an issue before the council you will have to bring dollar bills to throw at them if you want your agenda heard. We'll get rid of the podium and put up a brass pole. I think if all these ideas will bring a strong interest to city government in PV. Who knows, with a city council like that it may even attract Bill Clinton to politics in PV!!!!!!

Hellloooooooo. What kind of reporting is this when you don't give the youtube link to the Halloween Party? Discerning voters want to see it and make up their own minds.

As Judge Schmales once said, "Well...... we're waiting!"

Why on earth would you want a HS drop out on the City Council? Glad she was able to marry well, but still. And all the stories I've read about her and her Halloween antics, she sounds completely frivolous.

Well, they shouldn't have any trouble getting an entertainment license not from city hall, but for city hall.

A diploma doesn't necessarily make you a smart person. Pole dancer ? So what, think of all the money and jobs she is heloping to keep. The printer, the clowns and this blog. Why does a person have to have a degree to run for office? It simply means that there are snobs on the hill. The only time they lower their uppitidy ways is when they are looking down on people. Go Go Go and I hope that your money gets you in. Those against you are just jealous. You can take the girl out of the bar but can you lead her to water.

You are wrong about supporting an uneducated person without even a HS diploma for council. IMO 'No Name' has it right. While I agree a higher degree is not always necessary, the council deals with areas of critical thinking while applying existing statues to specific cases, must understand and develop large budgets, understand and apply complex state and federal laws to the city.

In this era where cities will be battling shortfall of income from the federal and state levels as well as falling property tax revenues, PVE needs sharp, educated, minds in this time of turmoil, not some rich twit who is hacked off that the city made her take down the decorations she put up on public property because she couldn't figure out even those simple rules !!!
