A Denton County grand jury will be asked to review the Lewisville Lake drowning of a 3-year-old Carrollton girl.

I sure hope they don't convict this guy of anything. I was there and the uncle was trying to be a good uncle. I am sure there is nothing a court can do to this man that he is not already doing to himself. I feel for this family and if anyone know how I could get in touch with them I would love to know. My own 3year old son was also playing close to where she was and I did not see little Natalie either. I also lost a son many years ago to a drowning. This family needs to HEAL and not tear eachother apart. Especially the other children need their parents. If the Escobar family reads this, We are with you and praying for you! Angela VanderSchuit.

Where were the parents in all this?? This was an innocent child that did not know any better but her parents should have been responsible to make sure their child was safe. There have been too many of these types of tragedies to young children and it's about time the law takes time to make rules and regulations to protect children from irresponsible and negligent parents such as these. These parents should be held accountable.

The parents were at their campground to the right of the swim beach. The uncle brought some of the kids over to the beach. As any PARENT knows, it is not possible to completely guarantee that nothing will ever happen to your kids. And as any CHRISTIAN knows, it only tears apart the family to start playing the blame game. What would anyone learn from a conviction? To remember to watch their children? Everyone knows that! How do you think it would help the siblings? To blame their parents? Is that all you care about, blameing someone? Making them "pay" for it? and accountable to who?, themselves,maybe God?, but not you! The attitude of judgemental people make me sick, when people need help all they want to do is say "I told you so" or make them "accountable" You have no idea what that family is going through and I pray you never do.

Obviously the parents should have been at the beach WITH the kids, not over at the campground having a good time. And anyone WITH a brain would NEVER leave a 3 year old unattended near water. The parents put themselves through this by being negligent.

I love it....bring religion into it....really?

How about just saying ANYONE knows that the blame game will tear a family apart...what does being Christian have to do with any of it? Please realize that other religions too believe in many of the same morals and ethics as Christianity...I guess if I'm not Christian then I must not understand that concept?

The parents are being punished by the loss of their child due to their negligence. To Georgette: it's not the "law's" job to protect children from irresponsible parents. If anything, we need LESS rules and regulations from the government because it's not their job to hold the citizens' hands through life.
