Two points, one the pledge of allegiance is a lie anyway. And I am supposing that parents teach their kids not to lie, so.. two- so what if they take God out of it? A true Christian can pray anywhere and God will hear and it doesn't have to be out loud. Stupid atheists can't take God out of anything. They just think by being obnoxious they can kill the faith.

What I find ironic is that if they don't believe God exists then what do they care if the name is taken out or not. My guess is they don't want to be reminded that they're actually mortal. And please people don't give me this 'we want to protect others from lies' nonsense. That can't happen either. So..

Love your word "fundies". Sounds like undies. You have an I problem too. And it isn't worth wasting the time arguing with you and your blinders and plugged ears. Enjoy your ignorance.

When we are children we are a clean slate. That's when you teach us about the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, monsters under the bed, and Jesus. Kids believe everything you tell them. We're all born atheists until you brainwash us otherwise.

You have MISSED the entire point. And you are one of the ones who will never learn WHY we are as a nation like we are today. It is not in a man to do the right thing. Even if it is in one person, let pressure build otherwise and that person WILL compromise.

If you would look around you at all the wrong done to each other, I'd like to see YOUR explaination. Wrong is wrong even when society says it's o.k. I actually feel more for blind people than you. At least they can't see because they can't, not because they won't.

I don't care what's in the Texas pledge but I don't want any religion running Texas. A pledge is just a bunch of words...just like what comes out of preachers mouths.

Everyone is born an atheist. Now, mold them to what you want them to be.

To the atheist who are dtepping on christians right to religion and to these idiots who want to take away childrens patriotic pledge. Move to one of these islamic countries whereto you wont hear a thing about god. But you will praise Ali or you'll be beat beheaded or burned to death. Instead your attempting to take away americans freedom in the name of atheism.

Atheists are Texans too. There is no 'they', there is only 'we'.

Atheists have just as much right to be here as anyone else, and keeping 'under god' in something that's recited in schools is forcing your religion down other people's throats and SHOULD NOT happen.

You people don't even know the origin of your own religion, or why you say things you do.

I predict the court will allow "Under God" to stay in the pledge.

If I'm offended by atheists, can I have them removed from my presence? Perhaps I should take the matter to court. I shouldn't have to spend my day offended by references to unbelievers and lost folks.

Or maybe that's a big waste of time, hmm?
