I simply do not understand how that many cars were involved and on both nights CPD did not catch anyone so far. One of the problems I have noticed is that I see the CPD out on the main roads quite often looking for citizens speeding, sitting at known speed traps, or looking for other traffic violations. However, there seems to be very little concern of patrol of our residential streets which have motor vehicle violations, trash violations, curfew violations, underage drinking and smoking violations, teenage disorderly conduct violations, and to top it all of, more and more theft and burglary. Crimes all start with the smaller stuff that if not enforced, will only grow into a bigger problem. The people who went on this car vandal smash and slash spree are probably aware they could get away with it due to them most likely having been involved in other law incidents and getting a slap on the wrist, if that at all.
