I am pleased with the overall support and news coverage concerning this young Marine's loss of life for in defense of our country! I live in Waynesburg and I'm a Blue Star Mother with the Akron/Canton Chapter. I stood with them, The Red Cross, The U.S.O. & a retired Marine at the on-ramp from the Airport to show our support to the family. As I was coming home, I saw many people's yards with flags & businesses flags at half staff. Those businesses also put many smaller flags in front! God Bless this family and give them special support and love in their time of grief.

I'm so impressed, but not surprised, by the community support for the sacrifice given by this young man and his family. Carroll County has always had a high level of patriotism and military support. It breaks my heart every time I drive thru town and see the flags and signs. My son, who went to school with Terry, just returned from his second tour of duty. I thank God for all the boys who make it home safe. My greatest sympathy goes out to his family and wish circumstances were sooo different.

I am so proud of our community and its outpouring of support for the Wright family. I hung my flags proudly yesterday in anticipation of their arrival today. God Bless them and their sacrifices they have had to make.

As a soldier my heart and prayers go out to your family at this time. Please know that your son paid the ultimate sacrifice. Also know that he is a Hero not only to his County, and his family but also to all of us whom have served or are currently still serving our Nation. As a mother I cry out for your child as I too have lost a child of my own. I am sorry that I can not be there physically to support your family, or my community at this time as I am serving my country elsewhere at the moment, I am there in spirit however. Thank you to my hometown for properly honoring this great young man and the sacrifices that not only he has made but his family as well.
