Now that it is unsafe Bruce will try to rent it out as part of his other slumlord dwellings. He is the worst slumlord in Carroll County.

There are A Lot of slumlords all over and we all have to deal with it unless we go and buy our own home. not all of us can afford to do that. How ever its not exactly any cheaper to rent now days the money you pay in rent can be turned in to a house payment. you shouldn't complain about landlords you chose to rent witch means you chose to put up with the stupidity cheapness and laziness of a slumlord. as for the low income people there are housing for that and them places are usually taken good care of.

If you think rent is expensive here you should go to a college town. My son is being charged $600 a month for a run down apartment in Athens and it's more than a mile from campus.

Why, Mr. Randy, that slum lord is just a good Capitalism, trying to make a profit. How shameful of you to criticize him! Poo Poo! SEE, when it's YOUR family, you complain, complain. That's your entire problem---you are self-centered, spoiled, selfish and act like a whole lot of middle-aged white "conservatives." Your just a hypocrite. Why don't you go down to Athens and talk to that Capitalist slum lord. Tell him you work at Wal-Mart and need a break. Maybe he'll have pity on you and put your son in a trailer full of holes and bugs for $500 a month. Oh, no heat, either.

It's because of supply and demand simply put. There is not enough housing in the area for all who are looking for it. Same thing anywhere. Why do you think so much housing is being constructed here, they see a demand. That is why my son is going to college, to be able to afford a better lifestyle. Everyone has the same OPPORTUNITY. It's how they choose what they want in life. The Wal-Mart employee, just like anyone else, makes choices. They can choose to settle or choose to make things better fo themselves.

Yes he works and it will better himself to know the meaning of work, sacrifice, and not giving up on his goals. Life is tough and it will beat you down but those who don't give up are the ones' who make it. Those Wal-Mart employees don't have to stay there, they can move out of that environment through education, taking on more resposibility, being a team player and not settling for where they are.
