Better than having the ligthts take longer to get through, why don't we start writing tickets to those who don't stop before the white line as the law dictates? Our drivers become more inconsiderate by the day.

One area that drivers try to avoid is the intersection of Main and High Streets. The light at that intersection only stays green for a few seconds when you are traveling on High Street. Then stays red for several minutes. Many people, including myself, usually take one of the alleys and then enter Main Street some other way. If the light was timed better there would be fewer people trying to avoid it.
