Carrollton McDonalds, Bus Crash

Whatever went on is irrelevant as we weren't there. If this is so appalling then go elsewhere and ask or pay for it.

As for the McDonalds, compared to any of the other fast food places in the area and it is by far the best. The BK is the dirtiest, greasy place in Cton with employees out of uniform working showing their tats and piercings. The KFC is right behind along with the TB, WH and Arby's.

I know that the McDonald's is by far the busiest of all the others. Go ahead Carrollton, force another decent place to close. So far you don't have a decent restaurant to visit.

Hello everyone,
The school bus crash was a great tragedy in the town of Carrollton, and our hearts and prayers go out to the families of the victims. We are disappointed that our failure to honor the request for a donation of hot beverages for our community rescue workers added to the sadness of the situation. Please know that this action is neither our company policy, nor does it represent our family values. Rest assured that we are taking all actions to address this with our staff.

McDonald's has always been a ass when something bad happens in this town. They never help no one.
In the 97 flood that hit us and there was flash flooding that killed people. McDonald's would not donate food to anyone. Hardees and KFC was the only two that did. I know I was working that day and helped give out the food. And it was the mangier that made the decision to donate and the owner was fine with it. Only a truly selfish person could turn some one needy away. April you should feel like SHIT because you are.

TPT can't boycott DcDs cause he gets sick eating at TB and BK (no lie). Well, maby he'll just have to drive to Sparta exit or LaGrange exit to get his $1.00 McDouble or McChicken. Its the first of the month and he'll have his check. Hasta la vista Carrollton McDonalds. Now where did I put my gas station beef jerky and my energy drink?

okay am not here to defend the manager that was on duty but i got to hand it to mcdonalds they always donate to charities and to local enforcement branches, but to all who think the restaurant is the worse is not do not judge the whole restaurant for the actions taken by one person and in this is that manager april, instead of squabbling over the issue of what resuce team has time to do things like this or how dirty that place is focus on the real issue of the problem if the manager refused to do so then so be it she choose the path and decision that will affect her reputation in town and with other people who may know her,as for the restaurant it may be tarnish by her decision but dont take it out on other employees or the store it self am sure if another manger would have been on duty they would have gladly donated some coffee and hot chocolate that is why there managers to take on decisions like that into their own hands,at least thank the stranger that paid for the coffee and hot chocolate, but please just leave the accident out all this arguement as the main reason to keep adding wood to fire, and i do agree with some that it is not right for her to give free food to family and friends and deny donating maybe 20 dollars worth of hot drinks, the rescue team and cops on scene were not there for a few minutes so it had to been cold and it woulda been nice to have something warm and who knows maybe the hot chocolate was for the kids that were unharmed in the accident so thats something to think about as well but to all please focus on the real subject here and i know many will critize and disagree with me but again that just my opinion and point of view and really wont care if you comment something negative on my reply good day to you all and goodbye.

This is from a friend that has been working with McDonald's to help resolve this.

I just recieved another email from the owner of
Mc Donald's. He informed me that both Ryder and Caroline's scholarship funds have been donated into and that they are planning on holding a fundraiser at the restaurant!! My goal has been accomplished. I will now forgive and let live. I ask all that was involved in the debate to do the same, so to focus more on prayers for the families!! Thank you!!!

I know April comes on topix a lot!!! Not one word from her real name. Notice I said "Real name" AND FOR YOU ALL SAYING ONLY 20 OR 30 DOLLARS.Let me break it down for you. it cost them little of nothing to make coffee. Average of 20 cents a cup. This includes cups and lids. It really has nothing to do with the price though. And of course this April is the one whom said, "hell no", That in its self showed lack of management skills. Mcdonalds is responsible for picking their managment teams and training them. I do know Mcdonalds values and that is what "sickens" me. I agree with an earlier post send her to kosair hospitial mc donalds and make her stay at a ronald house. She may learn a bit about compassion. And what the company she works for true values are. And to the beautiful, kind, compassionate, person, that reached into your own HEART and pocket thank you. AND FOR THE POST MADE FROM MCDONALDS OWNER. IF THAT POST IS LIGIT? My first job ever was at your Mcdonalds and People were fired for less than this. But I learned the customer is always right, no matter how wrong. I also learned good managers know how to handle all situations and can make a call, but above all them, I remember WHEN we put that not so cute brown uniform oN we represented mcdonalds and wouild be held accountable on the clock or off as long as we we're wearing Their uniforms. You all need to invest in a training program. I worked for a company that did just that and it is successful. Had I not moved I would still be working there. And btw, we gave free drinks to all cops,Eeeeeeeeeeeeee ems, fire and volunteers on a daily basis. I loved working for/With Mr. Thorton.

I don't think she owed those people shit. They could have paid for it like everyone else instead of bashing McDonald's for not giving them a hand out.

Really, you're an idiot. Mcdonalds give this stuff away constantly. If you want free stuff than do something to deserve it. Those people deserved it, or do you think they didn't.
