Nope. And you won't get information unless you are part of the elite wealthy ruling clique. If you're poor, or a working person, you the public won't hear about any of this. The government should be open and honest and fair, but they aren't. They get into power and they do whatever they want to do. Same is here in Gallatin County.

This was printed in the paper? What did they say about it?

Im just thinking typically, and by the time the paper gets out, it's too late. With the net, you can make a statement immediately. Just tell somebody to post your statement on your own website, if you're the Sheriff. It wouldn't be that hard to keep the public 100% completely informed. You also should videotape your government officials.

That's a good question. There are several unsolved murders in Gallatin County. Cowbody Hopkins, which happened about 10 years ago. Hub Ferguson, who got murdered like 50 years ago. We also got Cameron Jackson, I'm not sure of the date on that, and Billy Barnes in the 1980s. There are several unsolved murders here. There was also an incident where a police officer shot a man in the park, and just recently, there were two bodies found in town. One guy was Jason Smith, who they say went out in the woods, just laid down, fell asleep and froze to death. Then there was an elderly gentleman that rode around on a motorized scooter that was recently evicted from his apartment, was living in a hotel for awhile, was living with some folks somewhere bad, went out in the park, and I guess he fell asleep too and didn't wake up. That happened a few days ago. I don't think that was murder, though if he died of homelessness, then somebody, I'd say the government, should be held responsible. There have been several unsolved murders throughout the years, and the only answers I understand is based on hearsay, that's it. That's not comforting at all. I trust my government when they are free with their information, and they are open and honest. Those who seem like they keep secrets, I don't like that. When there's a body found, the public needs to know what is going on immediately, and an autopsy and toxicology report should be done on any suspicious deaths.

Hub Ferguson was the Sheriff of Gallatin County at the time, and I wrote up a piece about it, and some poster got angry when I suggested that it might have been the brother in law. Emotions run high with all types of conflict. If we can figure out a way to settle our conflicts without resorting to violence, that would be a huge first step. His body was found in Eagle Creek several days after he had been missing. There's info on the Net about this. But even many years later we are no closer to the Truth. And they were criticized for not running an autopsy on the body by some Kenton County officials. They should have done an autopsy.

nobody was murdered it was a suicide. he shot himself.

You sure? I'm not being a smart uss, it's just that if somebody knew what they were doing, they would make it look like a suicide. That's why I always tell folks if they tell you that my dead body was because of suicide, you call them out on it, because I want to live. I do not want to die. I want to live, and if something happened to me, it wasn't suicide, it was murder. This particular death could very well have been suicide. But that's what they said about the young man who went out into the woods and froze to death. They said he was drunk and laid down. His body was out there for two weeks. He could have been drugged, or had his windpipe blocked, like choked to death... who knows. Hunter S. Thompson also said that if anything happens to him, they'd make it look like a suicide, and surprise surprise, that's what the official reports say. So if I don't know for sure, then I just leave the case open in my mind as unsolved... and then just learn to live with it, since there's little I can do to influence the police to act in accordance to my premonitions... until I get some power to do something about it, I'm just a regular citizen.

Let the police do their jobs, when it is a murder or suicide investigation, the facts shouldn't be made public until the investigation is over.
