DO NOT USE! Huge pain the bottom. Still am yet to receive promised part to make my dryer run. Unless you are seeking nothing but a hassle buy from another retailer.

I am a well known property management company in Atlanta. I attempted to change vendors and use, Ken's Used Appliances. They were more expensive than my normal vendors for used appliances, but I felt I was paying for customer service and warranty. Wow! I was wrong. They delivered a used refrigerator and stove and approx 1 week later, the refrigerator stopped working. I spoke with Mike, he implied they did not carry warranties on their used appliances; however, it clearly stated on their receipt a warranty was included. He kept making promises to come out, but never did. He stated, he would replace the refrigerator, but never did.
As a professional small business owner, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company again. Since I referred this vendor to one of my investors/clients, I had to go out and purchase another refrigerator for my client and MY company had to pay to replace a defective product purchased from Ken's Used Appliances.

I agree with you; however, when someone is selling a product or giving you a service, they should at least stand by the "own" written warranty.

Take my advice, DON'T buy from Ken's. If you are lucky enough to get an appliance that works you may be ok but if it stops working (even in the warrenty period) you will be sorry. They will NOT fix it. You will just get the run around. No call backs just excuses. I bought a W/D and the dryer stopped working within a week. Going on three weeks of calling still no response. I wished I had checked their reveiws before I bought from them.

Like the guy said above, you can please some of the people some of the time but not all the people all the time. What anyone reading these reviews must realize that out of the hundreds of things sold at Ken's Used Appliance over the years there are very few reviews.....that's because the happy cutomers are less likely to post. It's the unhappy ones that do. Remember there are two sides to every story. When selling a used appliance there is no way to know when that appliance may go out. That's why they are cheap in price. As for warranties, Ken's Appliance only warranties the washer/dryers. All customers are told up front that fridges aren't warrantied. I am sure there are more happy customers than not.

No, he's saying his friend needed used appliances. Sounds to me as if his friend is one who repairs them and re-sells. I wouldn't call that pawning anything off on him......

I hate dirty, white trash, country-ass, lying, rednecks. If I were a gambling man, I would venture to say that anyone that has anything nice to say about Ken's Used Appliances on here is related to him or IS HIM. They are scum-bags and rip-off artists and should be ashamed to be white folk. They act more like they are black. Maybe Ken's is a black man. Probably so based on his actions. That is what black folks do to each other and is is accepted in their culture. Ken is black. There, I figured it out for everyone. Your welcome.

WOW! I purchased a washer and dryer from Ken's Used Appliance and in 3 days of having them, the washer started making loud noises and the dryer does not get hot at all. Ken promised to take care of it and it never happened and Jeff is so rude has no patience at all. I was not shocked to read post from other unsatisfied customers. I have not been able to do laundry in 4 weeks I called in time of the warranty and nothing has happened. I feel as if I was just robbed of my money because I have not utilized them. The machine has not been working since 3 days of being dropped off to my house. This is so unfair and I am a man of God and I know he sits high and looks low and will step in right on time. Be blessed!

I must agree with every disappointed and disgruntled customer. I purchased a washer and dryer set and a stand up defreezer this past February and the defreezer worked for two months and I came back home from my vacation onlye to find over $400 of food completely unthawed and ruined. The freezer just stop getting cold with no warning. I attempted to call Ken's appliance and the number was changed so I called the new number only to discover it had been disconnected, what type of company operates like that? I wish I had saw some of these reviews before my purchase. I will definitely buy new from now on, lesson learned! Save your money and buy quality and new products that come with a legitimate warranty! Please stay away from Ken's appliances!

Yeah you're an idiot and totally wrong, the people who own this store are relatives of my husband and are very good people.

I was about to contact Ken's today to purchase a dryer until I read the reviews. I'm disabled and live on a tight budget so I can't afford to spend money on something not dependable and the warranty won't be honored. I always expect to see one or two bad reviews about a business because it's just impossible to please every customer, but this is too many complaints.
