No MatchMaker is alive and well. BTW I never said I was "GOING" to do anything. I just was pondering and hoped there would be some folks with the same issues that wanted to share or help.

So are you the Matchmaker1 or is the registered one the matchmaker1, or are you both the same?

BTW, where exactly in this area do they manufacture matches if that is what your name implies? I know most of the manufacturing plants in west Georgia and do not know any that produce matches.

As far as I know I am the only MatchMaker! registered here. I don't make "Matches" as in "Light Your Fire" and I have this real feeling you wouldn't even be able to comprehend what I do as a volunteer. If you are truly interested in the MatchMaking I am involved in I will change the topic and explain.

I think punkin was asking you if you are posting as matchmaker registered and unregistered since there is an unregistered matchmaker posting here also.

Ever since i seen the movie seven pounds, I've been inspired... I have nothing to live for. I am too shy and very lonely. So to sacrifice myself for someone with much more to live for is the definition of being a saint. I have healthy organs and know that somebody else could make better use of them. I will not grow old alone or end up with somebody as choice "B".

Tell you what, just sacrifice yourself for me. I do not need your organs, but hey, I appreciate the effort. Just let us now where to find you before you end it all. Decomposition can be a little smelly.

Just don't do it along interstate 20 or between Bermen and Buchanan on Hwy 27. I hate smelling dead animals along the road on my motorcycle....

Well, the only trouble with your little plan there is that, unless you do it with a rope, a knife, or a hot lead injection to the head in the ER waiting room, your organs are going to be completely useless for transplantation. You have to be brain dead and kept on life support while your organs are harvested, typed and cross-matched, and a recipient has to be located.

Somehow I just don't see ER personnel standing idly by, watching as you proclaim yourself a saint and kill yourself by hanging, exsanguination or gunshot, then calmly hooking you up to life support so they can empty you out of usable bits.

Thanks for playing, have a nice day.

How about a suicide belt of explosives, take out some of the political scum (both parties), someone might even erect a monument in your honor.

Naw, he can't do that, because he wants to donate his organs. Wants to make a humanitarian gesture of his "sacrifice".

I think he should go to nursing school just long enough to learn to start an IV and intubate himself, gradually steal all the equipment he'd need (or rent it), hook himself up to a big D5W drip, then call 911 and say he heard a gunshot next door.

Hang up, intubate himself and hook himself up to a respirator, set it to Auto, then shoot himself in the head. That way he'll leave a body that's got salvageable organs, maintained so they're fresh.

I guess they would accept organs from an unstable person. Is Dr. Kevorkian still alive? he probably has all that equipment so I think we have solved the problem and everyone can benefit.

No, Kevorkian died last year. And the Kevorkian method wouldn't work -- he used IV drugs in some cases, carbon monoxide in others. Those all affect the internal organs and make them unsuitable for transplantation.

That's why executed prisoners can't be used as organ donors, unless they've been hanged or face a firing squad. Lethal injection poisons the organs, likewise the gas chamber, and electrocution cooks them.

That's why it's usually brain-dead people who are the best donors.

My son goes to BMS what happened to the little boy in his grade was awful. After he told me about this girl in their grade who cuts herself. I looked her up on facebook she is an inspiration to everyone out there. She has went through hell but came out on the other side she also attempted suicide. The girl is a miracle I heard she is going into inspirational speeding and she's only a freshman!

Inspirational speeding? Is that where you get a bunch of friends in a car, get on 285, drive 95 mph, and start talking in a positive manner?
