This would be a great time for the representatives of Honda Lock to be approached by those who are tired of the odor coming from their plant. I damn near laughed my azz off when I read this quote from the article:

This idea spawned from Honda Lock’s “corporate initiative.” The company strives to provide education among its employee base about healthy and active living. Now, it wants to offer that same education to the community.

What about your company initative to be a "good neighbor" to those who live, work, and shop in the area of your plant that gives off this stinking odor?? As in a tread where this was discussed the local health department, the EPA know of these complaints from years back yet they continue to stink up the area around their plant.

They should hold the race on the road there at Honda Lock so everyone can breath that wonderful, clean, air as they run for their health.

I have been very concerned over the last few years, but I have been encouraged by steps that are being taken to address this very serious concern by our local government.. I am also thankful that HL is participating in a beneficial event but remain desperatlely hopeful that changes will be made on behalf of our community. The smell truly is horrible!

Nothing like the smell of old toluene overpowering you when you are grilling in the afternoon. It's good for joggers lungs according to those in our city who emit it. I bet the track isn't going to be anywhere near the toluene factory.
