Aggie wrote: <quoted text> Did you pay no attention to the original question "30 year old man with a good job, making a good living decides" - that means CHOOSES for himself - to not be responsible and not to buy health insurance so he can spend his money on other things. I thought Dems were all about choice. Well, Republicans think that means accepting the consequences of your own choices (you know, being an ADULT). But no, Dems think there should be no responsibility, no consequences. Besides, it is a ridiculous question anyway, in this country, you get sick, you go to the emergency room - no one is turned away because they can't pay. You may not get the top of the line care, but you will get care. And are you telling me this man has no friends or family that would help him. People have fundraisers all the time for people in need - that is the next best answer, once again allow communities to help - NOT govt. And what was Rick Perry's horrible statement, to paraphrase:: you come to Texas, you kill a child, you kill a police officer, you kill one if our citizens while committing some heinous crime, you will be held accountable. If the death sentence is warranted and handed down, you will also get numerous appeals to insure no mistakes were made. So what is the problem. And I just love the completely unbiased nature of how the questions were worded. Under Republican leadership the 30 year old man gets taken care of, and we pay. The Illegal immigrant that works for cash gets sick and goes to emergency room and we pay. The twenty something that has no health problems and doesn’t think he needs health insurance. But he trips at the top of the stairs and cracks his skull then gets taken care of at the local hospital and we pay. Now they all will pay one-way or the other. Health care is not free except to people who have no way or intention to pay, they get it for free, and we pay. Fundraisers are few and far between and normally for the very sick and long term care costs. They are a small minority when compared to the number of people who get health care for free, and we pay. Now maybe if the Republicans take up another meaningless cause and leave the health care bill alone, those folks will contribute to the cost of health care and I say let them pay.

Yeah, if it was for all Americans. Too many exemptions from the health care law. This was about fairness, nothing fair about union members keeping their Cadillac health care plans. Same plan for ALL Americans...this Health Care law is worse than before.

I am not trying to be argumentative, but I do not understand your first paragraph. I would presume from your last sentence, you are in favor of Obamacare, but your opening statements sound more like an indictment of Obamacare than support for it.

Why did they hear the cases in the Government Supreme Court or even better why did people file these cases in the Government courts. If I want to bang my kin why is it any of your business. If I want to drive DUI the why is it any of the Governments business. If I want to do anything why is that the Governments business. If I want to murder me next door neighbor why is that any of the Governments business. How ignorant and stupid you are.

Problem is you don't understand ObamaCare. Just who do you think pays for a person who has no insurance now. The people who have insurance or the cash to pay as they go pay. The hospitals just pass on the cost, nothing is free. If you think people without insurance or the money to pay don't get care now, well think again. If you have no insurance now its going to cost you, and I hope it costs you a lot.

Unfortunately, I understand Obamacare all too well. The bottom line is that expenses will go up, healthcare will be rationed. The government will be determining what care will be "allowed", medical research will be curtailed, insurance companies will eventually go out of business and then we will all be dependent on bureaucrats making decisions instead of being able to make our own healthcare decisions with our doctors. Yippie.

That doesn't make it remotely accurate.

It's easy to know your sources, only a few spout such crap. Its FNC, Rush and all the consertavie talk shows that are getting rich on the backs of people like you who just don't have a clue. Your response was no response, just the same line being said over and over again when you and people like you have nothing to say to support what they want to be true. What exactly did I say that is wrong? You won't find the answer on FOX, it's up to you to think for yourself.

Fairness to obama is to penalize the risk takers, job creators and hard working Americans and give to the folks who choose to live off the government. Thats how the dems grow their base.

obama has already taken $716 billion from the people who have paid into Medicare to pay for his beloved obamacare. There is nothing free, obama had to steal it from the people paying taxes to get it started.

There is no loss to benefits, there is no substantial change to recipients, a savings was achieved by better oversight of providers, and the funds shifted. NO CHANGE TO RECIPIENTS! It's just better oversight. How many times can you spread the same misinformation, that YOU ARE WELL AWARE OF>? And why would you do it? It's simply not responsible- it's like kids pretending to talk politics who simply don't understand. You're capable of better, and you know it.
