I heard from the kids and some coaches that we only got two transfers that will be playing sports and it doesn't look good. Maybe we will get lucky and the next Michael Ross will transfer hear.

It should be a good season, these kids play their hearts out, but that doesn't seem to matter to most. I have never played football because I am a female. But, I am sure it is not an easy game to play, otherwise all the kids would play. But i have always wondered, when our team looses a game, everyone becomes an authority. They should have done this and they should have done that!! But if we are such an authority and real fast to criticize then why aren't we coaches??? Hah !

whether we win or lose, i let my son know that i am very proud of him regardless of the outcome. with the weather as hot as it is i applaud the players for having their heart into it because if they didnt they wouldnt be practicing in this heat with all their equipment on..good luck to them all this season & keep your heads up no matter what negativity you are bound to hear...its not worth youworrying bout it....there is always that one bad apple that tries to spoil it for everyone else!

That's a losing attitude to have. If it doesn't matter if you win or lose, you reward them just the same. Which is why our children have become such losers. Why put any effort into winning, if you can be rewarded for losing? And losing is much easier.

Winning is the only thing that matters!!! You are only hurting your child by telling them its ok not to win.

It is OK not to win as long as you really try. The only shame is in not trying. Oh and remember, it's just a game, really.

This is why America is failing. In other countries, losing is not acceptable.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you might want to know the whole story before u remark something negative on something you have read..let me tell you that not all children turn out as you because of my train of thought. my son is actually a very smart child & has a good head on his shoulders. he is in GT classes, band, UIL, athletics, i have always told him that its ok 2 lose. you see, if he loses he just tries harder the next time around. sometimes when winning is the only thing they are taught then they forget why they are playing in the first place & that is because they love the sport!

why do u call yourself "wildcat", if all you have done, is be negative towards these players? why not change your name to define who you are by the comments you make? i have one as an idea for you, how about " pessimist". give these kids a chance, especially since most of them who go off to college will choose a different career path other than sports. let them enjoy playing the sport without constantly being negative towards them. i don't understand why some people get a kick from putting down others and just in case it hasn't crossed your mind, u are what one would call a bully, especially since those you are constantly speaking negatively about a making negative comments towards are minors.

WHEN YOU LEAD THE DISTRICT IN TURNOVERS THE PAST FEW YEARS I SERIOUSLY DOUBT YOU ARE REALLY TRYING. I am waiting for the day the cats return to the glory of the past. at this point i don't blame the kids, too much talent has come and gone thru the doors. its all on the coach.

Then let the coach....coach....trust me he is a good coach....Bandara they to state....Crystal well they finally beat carrizo when he was coaching there....and freer was wasnt bad ether and to tell you I say improvements last year....we one some and the ones that we lost we were there until the end....when we played Crystal it was one of the best games i have seen even the crystal city fans that i talked to said "win or lose" it was the best game between the two....It seemed that both teams came out winning...its weird but its true....up to this point this form pointless really people it is.....let the season begin and end and then post your opinion. All I know is that Coach Aguero and his coaching staff has my support...I go to every game and I don't have a boy playing in the team....I just love friday night football....And another thing it is just a game...win or lose we need to support our boys and girls....But trying to teach the kids that losing is not option well wake up life is full of mistakes and failures thats what a person goes through to succeed in order to succeed....thats what losing teaches a kid at a young age to get up and try again and never give up....that is how success is obtained in life.. if you teach them that losing or failing is not an then shame and depression sets in and you have an adult now not knowing what to do...this is want sports teaches us...although i might disagree with you in a respectfull manner in some points...thier is one thing i like about you is that you truly have the wildcat spirit and i like that...

that's loser talk. If you're not a winner, then you're nothing. You have to teach that to the kids or you might as well not try. You need to be in it to win it.

I have to say I totally disagree with you "HUH" and am in agreement with "I Think" and let me tell you why. Its enough that our coaches are trying their best to instill in our kids to try their best at all times during the game and to never give up and to hear all the fans shouting all the negativity that goes on about the coaches from the stands. My son has played 2 very successful years as a junior high football player and will be playing again this year with the freshman team, which is going to be a another promising season for these young guys, but how think how they must feel when they are spectators in the stands and all they hear is horrible remarks coming from the so called fans of the wildcats. Where is the gratitude for the hard work these boys are putting on the field. I have been to several varsity games in the past and on the stands, this one lady would stand and yell over and over again "Brinkley, Brinkley, what are you going to do about it Brinkley" Its disgusting to think that those are our fans. When you are a fan of a team you support the entire team including the coaches, other wise your just a hypocrite. Trust me there were many times that I felt like standing up and telling this person to shut up but I have better class than that. This coach and his staff deserve our respect because he has shown much dedication to our boys and our team. He has stuck with us and know that there are better things to come for us. This team has shown lots of improvement and will continue to improve as the season moves forward. So "HUH" makes me wonder, what kind of morals are you teaching your kids because from what I see its nothing good. Good Luck Wildcats, I wish you nothing but great success.
