3 bdr, 1 1/2 bath, closed car garage, central air, tile floors, nice full kitchen with stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, tile counter tops. Clean house in/out sitting on 1 acre just outside carrizo. $1,160 mo.

Wow thats all... Are you crazy, why are the rent prices so outrageous nowadays... Its ridiculous...

Seriously?????? Lol, this is so funny. Honey the oilfield workers will not be here forever. What are you going to do once they leave? Thats more then a house payment.

Either the house will rot cuz noone can afford 2 rent it or the owners will have no choice and come 2 their senses and lower the rent 2 something more reasonable...

Stop complaining about the prices of rent. Many people got very comfortable relying on housing assitance and other assistance programs. If you don't like it don't rent, go buy your own home, and don't worry about paying anyone for rent. It's that simple!!

Excuse me but not evryone can afford this high rent. We live in a small town. Come on. Rent has never been so high before the oilfield men came. I hve a house thts fir rent. Its a 3 bedroom and its being rented out for $500. Always has been. Greedy people. Wonder what thy are going to do whn all these people are gone.

the rent may be high to some but when you have 3 or more working people it can be paid .. i see people coming in to work in oilfield industry and want to pay 100 a week that is nothing with cost of utilities etc. The workers receive perdiem and want to pocket the monies to have new auto payments,and other items that money is to lodge and eat ..or they say have mortgage payment back home the mortgage payment should be paid from your hourly earning not perdiem some missuse forget about the old rent prices the 5 or 6 hundred a month rents inflation is here

Not all oilfield workers live with co-workers, some have their family with them. Also not everyone gets perdiem. Rent in Carrizo is ridiculous.

Get off section 8 uall project living slums. Get a freaking job and then uall b able to pay for rent!!

That's just it, I'm not in any kind of housing assistance and I do have a job. But these renters have gotten greedy with their prices. Not everyone here work in the oilfield business. And if I was on Section 8, do you honestly think I'll be looking for a place to live elsewhere. Think about what you're gonna say before you open your mouth.

if you go to san antonio (big city)not everyone is living in a big house or driving an expensive car, some people can not afford it so they live and drive whatever they can afford. that is the way it has always been and continue to be. if you have a house and want to rent it for $3000.00 or $300.00 that is your right to do so.

Then get a better paying job and buy a house instead if renting! Quit complaining and live on rock on!

you can sit here and complain all day nothing going to change renters are still going to have there price if you cant pay then the next one in line will..if you go to heb or walmart if you cant afford you leave it on shelf next one comes bye and picks it up..a deposit must also be charged so people will take care of whats not theirs --if not get someone who will to stay on your property
