Woman gets 9 years - again - in fatal DUI

A new sentencing hearing ended with the same nine-year prison term today for a 47-year-old Carpentersville woman whose drunken driving caused a 2005 crash that claimed the life of an Algonquin woman.

I am sooooo tired of reading all of the excuses people have for THEIR OWN behavior!

People have to be responsible for their own behavior period!

Example: If you commit a crime with a gun, you get 20 years.

If that gun goes off, you get 40 years.

If that bullet hits anyone, you get the Electric Chair.

If you commit a crime involving a child, you get life in prison.

Third offense, you get the Electric Chair.

We need to invest in court in a timely manner.

What a white trash loser. I hope she burns in a fire made of Everclear. The laws are to easy for drunks. As a survivor of a drunk driver myself, the guy that hit me had 3 DUIs prior to my accident. The laws need to be more strict and punishing.
